And It Washes Away All My Memories Of You
[Roxas had begun to believe that the desires of those whom stayed here brought forth the creation of more than merely the edible. Everyone was making their own 'places.'
He'd not been aware of a beach-front area being behind that set of doors before, yet since rumors of someone's venture out here reached his ears, Roxas had wanted to return and confirm it. Now that Roxas is sitting little more than a foot-length from the frothing sea's tide....he can only assume that suspicion was true.
As was his second that the ocean led no where. After making it short ways out, trudging into the surf, the youth was instantly transported to the shore-line and his seated position in the blink of an eye. As if that had never happened....minus the very drenched condition he was sporting. Funny how reality bent so much, but never really added up, here.]
...What's the sense in creating someplace perfect for your desires, when the location isn't what matters?

but miraculously he finds Roxas again, but can't do anything to help the state he's in. why would he think of bringing a towel? ]
I guess you like the beach?
[ he's got his hands in the pockets of a dark green sweatshirt. a school sweatshirt clearly, with the school name and the gruff mascot on the front and back. ]
no subject
It's...sort of nice.
[Gestures with his shoulders to suggest a trailing off upon that subject before raising eyes overhead to the atmosphere of sun, surf and sky.]
After being inside for so long, the change of pace can't hurt.
no subject
I haven't been to the beach in a long time.
[ he abandoned shoes a while ago. how he's favoring sand between his toes. ]
no subject
[Takes in the attire as Roxas stands, brushing wet sand from himself while slowly working his way over towards Axel.]
Hm?
...What's your shirt say?
no subject
[ waits for him; maybe even takes a step or two toward him. ]
Don't worry about it. It's an old high school sweatshirt.
no subject
It's admirable.
[Roxas is soon close enough to inspect the logo, and his finger hovers upon the inscription it's read. Though he gleans a vague and assumptive understanding, the following notion still dwells upon his mind, along with a small grin.]
Are you naturally a secretive guy, or is everything 'hush hush' as a fall-back from playing the mysterious card around girls?
[Addendum, via his uncertainty.]
Because they like that kind of thing.
...I...think.
no subject
[ shrugs his shoulders. he's awfully calm today. ]
Girls like me no matter how I am.
no subject
I never found out what your thesis was on...an-
[Cut off by that last retort. Sways a little from side to side as if sea-sick and bored simultaneously, emphasizing each word with his tilt to show a feigned impatience in hearing something Roxas likely expected.]
Yes yes...
I'm sure they do.
[Has no interest in Axel's harem, and instead is lightly pulling him towards the surf with one hand.]
no subject
What are you doing?
no subject
A-ah...
Well.
[Thumb is jerking towards the water as he wears an expression of someone who -almost- got away with something, but was busted in the last nanosecond. Particularly blessed with articulation around the other, whom...intimidates him. Just a smidgen. Yeah.]
no subject
But I don't wannaaa!
[ whines and moans, arm limp to stop Roxas from pulling him. he wants to run into the water, but his new shorts... he knows he'll give in and join Roxas, but he wants to make a scene first. ]
no subject
...That's okay! You don't have to.
[If Axel acts like a child he's going to get treated like one. Got forbid, Roxas somewhat -believes- the fit and attempts to console him. Anything to rescue the boy from feeling like the adult with Axel of all people. That line alone is quickly eroding the fragile fabric of his sanity.]
Whatever you want.
no subject
All right, let's go.
no subject
no subject
It's nice.
no subject
Hands are -not- girlishly in his lap this time. Promise.]
Yeah, I think so.
no subject
[ it's affection speaking. he doesn't really care though. the water is too nice not to sit in. but he still won't dare it. ]
I should bring Kairi here.
no subject
[Biting his tongue in continuing on at those last words; unsure of how to even supply a response for a good long while. Eventually something works it's way into the air around them.]
If she's here...then it shouldn't be a problem.
no subject
I'm not leaving you for her.
no subject
[Roxas is underwater right now, please leave a message after the beep. All this is because he'd quickly sunk into a nearly submerged position with some overwhelming cause embarrassment. Eventually he surfaces with a small cough, fingers working the salt water out of his temporarily blind eyes....which apparently take three hours to repair.]
Okay. That's fine with me..
no subject
Did you even hear me?
no subject
Yeah.
It's- just weird.
Hearing you say what I..kind of hope you would.
no subject
It's because I'm getting to know you better than before.
no subject
Axel..
Are you not very fond of deep water?
no subject
Find me a pair of trunks and I'll get out there.
