Many people here have mentioned magic being predominant in their worlds. As... unlikely as this seems to me, despite examples given... it would appear to be the most likely- and most accepted- theory I've heard tossed about this place.

Unlike my associates, I am not a scientist. The majority of people here have a common origin - they seem to come from, or atleast are familiar with the same version of universe. Darkness, Light, and that in between. Worlds and their Hearts, the Heart of all worlds.
