That's too complicated. Think of me as someone who can rewind time, almost.

...Rewind time? A human with that power?

Just about. As long as I'm the one who's killed a person, I can reconstruct their body as if nothing happened.

...How interesting. Is it taxing?

It is for me to reconstruct humans, but the feeling goes away quickly.

..You can reconstruct other things?

Just animals and plants.

What is the easiest?

Animals, actually. Birds are the only creature I've been able to revive when they haven't been killed by me.

Do you think you could eventually work up to humans?

That's why I'm operating the project. It seems the more I kill and revive, the stronger my ability gets. The easier it is for me to preform it, and I think soon I'll be able to overstep the last boundary to keep my power.

I'd like to think of it as stretching a rubber band from a finger to a post, I have to keep on stretching it until I can wrap it around, or I'll snap back.

You...are not worried about the ah...morals of your project?

Not in the least.

Some kid flipped out on me for killing someone and taking advantage of them, so now I'm looking for volunteers. If they're giving themselves up for my research, I can't be in the wrong. I have their consent.

My world was filled with people who wanted to see Heaven.
