[And there was Olette, buried under books. Not literally, mind, but enough so she could be hard to find. Why? She felt the urge to say certain things to certain people and that would certainly be a problem.

She thumbed through the book, not really registering what she was reading.

[walks over and sits next to her in the pile of books]

[picks one up and flips through it] Hm.

[n-nevermind. couldn't pursue this further, not what she couldn't think the situation through a little better]

[argh! couldn't even say anything, instead she watched him take the book and looks back to her own, tapping it. sigh]

[glances over at her and smirks]

[looks back to the book, turns a page] Well, not finding anything on the truthy-gas here...

[stretches his arms] Buuuut I guess it doesn't really concern me... since I've managed to avoid it so far.

[leans back and turns his head to her] So I'm surprised I really meant it.

[she hated herself for blushing so much, and the tingly butterflies in the pit of her stomach. she wasn't like this- she hung around boys all her life and she never felt like this.

she quietly listened to him before- and she hated this- she turned to shyly look at him. jdsahfsj no no, she wasn't shy, but it was hard to meet his gaze.

but she smiled]

You do... Heh. That's good.

[looks back to the book, glances back at her after a minute, still smiling]

You probably didn't notice. [licks his thumb and turns a page] I'm good at hiding things.

[pauses, thinking for a moment]

Is that why you gave Riku that look when he was talking to me at the speed dating thing?

turning her head she leaned to the side, pressing her lips at the corner of his mouth. was aiming for his cheek, really... but with her nerves. she missed.

[before she can pull away, turns his head and kisses her]

[O-okay. That wasn't bad at all. Eyes closing she returned the kiss- not too forceful, just enough to show that she liked it... and wouldn't mind if that happened more often]

[looks at her, his smile turns into that typical Seifer smirk]

Been looking forward to that.

[quiet laugh] I wonder if any of this would've happened if we were still back home...

[ah, the return of the cocky smirk. it... grew on her, and he wasn't Seifer until he had that look.]

Maybe you should have done it sooner then.

[light smile, but she curiously pondered his words]

I... don't know. Maybe, maybe not. I guess it's a good thing we both came here.

[laughs] I would've...

But I always assumed you thought I was a jerk.

And... I gave you good reason to think that, really. [laughs]

...I'm glad we're here. [puts his hand over hers]
