[TIME FOR AN ENTIRELY TOO LONG MULTI-CHARACTER POST.

seasides is in the kitchen... what a boring guy. with things set up kind of how they used to be, and people once again relying on the kitchens, he's made his way to the main one to cook up some stuff to stash away in the fridge and freezer for others!

fading is not amused. he's trapped in a cage in a section of hallway made of white sand and marble. the cage isn't very big, which has him stuck sitting, and looking rather grumpy. there's no visible lock on it.

skybright is currently pushing herself in a training room, magic drained and looking half ready to collapse where she stands. there's a first aid kit sitting on a bench nearby, several bottles (elixirs, mostly) sitting empty next to it.

ghastlydawn hasn't been seen much, but she has been around. super disappointed with the change in the DR still - she grew up in the open world version, after all - she's been exploring to keep herself from lingering on her thoughts and getting even more homesick than she already is.

before is... pinned to a wall with several familiar knives. he doesn't look more than a little beat up, and mostly amused! he's got no idea why a Larxene attacked him, only to do barely anything aside from pin him there, but he can't move his hand enough to pull any of the knives out, and he doesn't want to rip his jacket. oh well.

islandflower is sitting in an outdoor room, a simple-looking field with several slightly battered targets some distance away, taking a break from practicing magic. the door is open and she's well in sight, but she's rather distracted reading.

fromshadow has found something that looks like it's fresh out of Halloween Town. it's a gloomy, mist-covered room, the door opening to a large clearing amidst spindly frost-coated trees. the clearing is filled with row upon row of gravestones, but each and every one of them marks an empty grave, the spaces all cleanly dug out but not even holding a coffin. he's standing just inside the doorway, too wary to actually go and check it all out.

conflagrate, who I totally didn't forget about, is in one of the closets. this particular one seems to hold clothing for both male and female, and she's just sort of absently browsing the men's button-down shirts at the moment. for some reason, all her clothing has gone and vanished from her room-house-thing, so she's rebuilding her wardrobe.]

[She stops in front of him, arms crossed, looking just a little disbelieving. She remembers hearing about the Saix you taunted, Red.]

Positive. Seemed like she was having a bad day, so she took it out on me.

I'm glad it was a she.

[She's eying one of the knives, but still not moving to take it out.]

That so?

[If she tries, it'll spark.]

Yeah. Not that they're any better.

[She's going to give in and try to remove it, jerking her hand away when that happens.]

Maybe you should get some gloves, if you're going to do that.

Maybe. Or I could just leave you there.

[Hmmmmmm which is more appealing?]

You could. And I could just refuse to touch you for a month.

[She looks surprised.]

That's harsh. I would've come back for you eventually.

Eventually. Maybe I'd say one day for every ten minutes you left me alone.

Something about this doesn't seem fair.

[Off she goes.]

I'll be back with gloves.

Well now that I know you'll be back, I'll refrain from doing that.

I'd hope not.

[That would just be mean. Off she goes! It won't take her long to come back with a nice pair of work gloves on her hands.]

[He'll just be hanging around.]

[Ha ha.

She walks up without a word and yanks one of the knives out.]

[If he had pain on, he'd probably wince a couple times while she pulls them out. They might not have been stuck directly into his flesh, but some of them are shoved into the wall close enough to catch his skin while being pulled out. So don't mind the bit of blood on at least half the blades.]

[That's okay, she'll stop to wince herself when she notices the blood on the first one, and she'll put her free hand up to investigate his arm. Oh hell no.]

Bathroom after this.

It's not that bad, but alright.

[And he actually means it! It's mostly small cuts and bruises, nothing even broken or fractured.]

Better than bleeding all over the place. You've got a black eye, by the way.

[She's much more careful when she pulls out the rest.]

Hm, do I? That sucks.

[At least bruises look neat.]

It doesn't look bad.

[It just looks like he got into a bigger fight than it really was. Or than what he described, anyway.]

[That's because it wasn't so much a fight as it was a one-sided smackdown, really. Larxene lost interest when he didn't react like he'd been hurt at all.]

[Well, that's one thing he's good for! She tugs out the final blade and drops it to the ground with the others, moving them out of the way with her shoe. Stupid Larxenes.]

Think we'll start seeing more trouble now?

Yeah, probably.

[He shrugs out of his jacket so he doesn't bleed all over it even more. Without his jacket in the way, he doesn't really look that injured. There are a number of cuts, but yeah, they're shallow.]

[He doesn't, but he could still stand to have them bandaged, or clean, so he doesn't bleed all over himself.]

Great. Just what I wanted this year. Come on.
