Over here, oh brilliant one. [walks over to a table in the corner of the room, falls back into a chair and makes himself comfortable]

[produces a deck of cards, begins to shuffle them - quirks an eyebrow at him] What are you, my mum? [wiggles the cigarette in his lips just to annoy, continues to shuffle]

[Purses his lips, sitting himself in the opposite chair. Stab. Laughing a little nervously.]

N-No, but my friend died from those a few years back and I'd rather not have it on my conscience if you kick the bucket from lung cancer with me never saying a word against it.

[His hand waving in a futile effort to clear the air he was breathing, already taking in that horrible scent.]

[rolls eyes and takes the cigarette out of his mouth, rubs it out on the table]

There, you happy now? [blows out the last of the smoke] Sorry to hear 'bout your mate.

[Smiles, his eyes lightened with appreciation. Shrugging his shoulders.]

It's alright, he said not to get too emotional about it or he'd come and haunt my ass. So instead of crying like others, I just laugh whenever I think of him. Rather enjoy the times we had than become a weeping willow.
