She should be just over here.

[spoken as she picked up a book or two- they must have fallen when she was fixing up the corner for her own purposes. Olette believed in studying at least once a day, she had to keep her mind working, to have it sharp. what if they went home tomorrow and there was a quiz at school? her grades were not going to drop because of this.

she put the books on a small table she found and brought into the corner of the library.

and as promised, their lay the purple dragon. she was a lot bigger than her baby self (but not as huge as one would think a dragon would be) but she was beautiful and elegant.

Olette smiled, gesturing to the dragon]

See? Isn't she beautiful?

[makes a face at all the books as he follows her]

[smiles when he sees the dragon] Oh wow, she's great. [walks closer to her, holds his hand out for her to smell it] Hey Seifer, it's me.

Can't really call you Seifer anymore, though. [grins]

[The dragon raised it's head (she was napping, cushioned by unused books) and it recognized Seifer immediately. Leaning over she studied him before nudging his hand, nuzzling it slightly]

Oh good, she recognizes you!

[taps her lip]

And I'm figuring out a perfect name for her. Maybe something that incorporates your own- because I did promise you, and sometimes she does little things that remind me of your attitude from time to time.

[smile]

[pets her head, scratches under her chin] Wow, you really got big fast.

[smirk] My attitude, huh? [speaks to the dragon] I wonder what that could mean.

[A little cooing noise came from the dragon, approving of the chin scratch.]

[Olette just smiled, leaning against her table]

Oh I don't know, she can be very demanding- keen on attention. But soft to the right people.

[then she points to a familiar red hat on the desk]

She also like that hat.

[smiles at her with an arched eyebrow] I see.

Keen on attention, huh? [scratches behind her head]

[looks to the hat, can't help but smile] Haha, oh yeah. [looks back to the dragon] Well there are plenty more where that came from, maybe you can have this one too. [indicates the one on his head]

[o-okay. had to look away when he smiled at her. that was weird. clearing her throat she looked back at him with a sheepish smile]

Yeah... I was reading last night and she nearly nudged me out out of bed because I wasn't paying too much attention to her.

[the dragon peered at the Indiana Jones style hat, sniffing it a little- slightly interested, but preferred scratching more than head warmers. nudges him a little, serpent tongue flicking at his cheek]

Sounds demanding alright. [laughs when the tongue touches his cheek] Haha, hey! [takes the hat off and holds it out to her to see how she'll react to it]

[looks at Olette] What does she eat?

[sniiiiff sniff the hat, then snorts at it a little- apparently the dragon preferred glitter.]

She eats plants and meat. I've been trying her with different things and writing down what she likes the most and the things she doesn't quite care for.

[sorta... shyly smiles now, smoothing down her shirt]

I'm glad you're not disappointed.

[er... did that sound lame?]

I, uh. I mean she really enjoys your company.

[laughs at the dragon, puts the hat back on his head and goes back to petting her]

What does she like best, so far?

Nah, I'm not disappointed. Pretty sweet to have a dragon at all, yeah?

I'm glad she likes me, I bet her bites hurt. [grins]

[pleased dragon is pleased, nudging and flicking her tongue at him every now and then]

Hm?

[reaches over to her notebook, flipping through it]

She is really fond of tomatoes and bacon.

[Olette nodded absently] Oh I bet. I just hope I don't ever find out.

[sets the notebook down, a previous thought coming back]

Hey... can I ask you something?

[looks over at the notebook, surprised at how organized everything is - makes a face]

[pulling out one of the dragon's wings and inspecting the veins] Hm... Oh. Yeah. - What?

[that was Olette, organized to a fault. disorder irked her something fierce.]

Well, at the speed dating I noticed you giving Riku a mean look.

[brows raise]

Did you guys get into one of your 'man fights' or whatever it is you boys do?

[the dragon, on one hand was enjoying the attention, stretching her wings to show them off, letting him inspect them as much as he wanted to]

[long pause, suddenly very interested in the dragon's wing bones]

Naah. He's just a lamer...

And you know, gotta put 'em in their place.

[brows raise]

Uh huh. I see.

[but she didn't question him, instead she smiled and moved over to inspect the dragon too, stroking her head. The dragon was just pleased as punch to have double the attention]

[looks at her and smiles, goes back to petting the dragon]

[has nothing else to say, enjoys the silence]
