I hated when Axel hurt him. I wanted to keep Riku as pretty as possible. I wanted him like a trophy-- I swear if he was just mine he would've been so much better off-- flawless and ... pampered, coddled-- I would have done so much for him...

He wouldn't have wanted to be a 'trophy', either. What Axel does is so much worse, but neither of you are right.

[he's clutching his Keyblade tightly, not imposingly, but just in case.]

[he's dropped his keys with a flash of light and whisps of darkness, bare hands clawing at his face as he collapses to his knees. he's tearing right through the skin, blood streaming from where his fingertips dig in and drag with darkness dancing away from the wounds. half and half, right?]

[Kingdom Key is long gone from his hands, and before Roxas knows it, Sora's kneeling in front of him and grabbing his arms tightly so he can force them away from his face.]

Calm down, okay? You don't need to go ahead and hurt yourself like this.

[kicks and flails with all his might, nearly riding himself all the way up the wall before he falls over again, bloody hands clawing at Sora.]

[he's reaching for Roxas' hands again, trying to ignore the fresh cuts on his skin, and sending swift kicks whenever Roxas gets too close for comfort.]

[that's when it just gets worse and worse, he's trying his damn best to latch his teeth onto something of Sora's, digging in, tugging, tearing, gnashing, spitting, going again. it's like fighting against a rebellious dog.]

[and Sora's losing against said dog. he gasps, winces, and hisses out in pain whenever those nails snag him, but now he's mostly just trying to get the teeth anywhere but near him, with one hand forcing Roxas' jaw skyward and the other trying to pin down a flailing arm.]

[with Sora's hands pinning down his upper body and his arms, his feet are back in action, curling in to kick and launch him back and away from his body.]

[he struggles against him, forcing him down on the floor and moving his body over the blond's, using his legs to pin Roxas', his hands busy keeping his arms out of commission.]

[screaming at the top of his lungs now that he can't move, struggling to the best of his ability.]

[he simply holds on, maybe a little afraid of letting go now that Roxas is thrashing and acting oh-so pissed off.]

[grits his teeth, closing his eyes to avoid blood dripping into them.]

[he does so, letting go of his legs first, then his arms, backing up quickly and eying him cautiously.

[rolls over to his side, letting the blood run down his face. slowly but surely he starts to unzip his coat, sliding it down his shoulders.]

[he can't help but sit and stare.]

[doesn't answer him, reaching up to smear away the blood from his eyes before he keeps unzipping, worming out of the hot leather.]

[he forces his eyes in another direction.]
