You know, after seeing how some of the other Kairis are so close to Sora and Riku, I really do wonder what it would have been like if things happened differently for me. They both seem like they'd make great friends, but at the same time, I'm happy to have the Restoration Committee as my friends. I guess in a way they're the closest thing I have to family.

Still, maybe someday I should visit Destiny Islands just to see what it's like. I've never really been to a beach before...

Maybe if I ever get a chance to leave this place, I'll ask Cid if he can take me there. I'm in no hurry to leave, but I wouldn't mind going to see it just once.

Mm... you mean with gummi ships, right? Dad used to take me and my brother up to Radiant Garden once a year, but then it kinda stopped.

I hope you visit, though. It's really fun - all of us island kids play on an island we claimed as our own, and we do all sorts of fun stuff. Once, this actor kid came from Tantalus~ He had the thickest southern accent I've ever heard in my life!

Actually, I live in Radiant Garden, but we don't call it by that name anymore. After what happened with the heartless, it just hasn't been the same.

Really? Dad said it was called 'Hollow Bastion' for a while, but it was only for a while... and then it went back to being called Radiant Garden.

And.. um, I hate to be rude, but what are heartless?

It's still called Hollow Bastion in 'my' universe. We've been trying our best to fix the town, but for now the people still choose it use that name.

Heartless... I don't know much about them, but what I do know is that they're creatues born from the darkness in a person's heart.

Huh, that's really weird. The Radiant Garden I know's all patched up and beautiful. Mom says it's nothing like it used to be, but she likes it enough.

... So Dad's stories were true. I didn't think he was telling the truth about a talking dog and duck and traveling to different worlds, but if the heartless attacks really happened... that's creepy. How are you dealing with that?

We're trying our best to fight the heartless, so the world doesn't fall into darkness again. Cid's set up a defense system, which is helping, but there are so many heartless that it's not always enough.

Well, I know Sora, but we've only spoken a few times. Riku I've seen, but he was working with Maleficent, and tried to kidnap me. Sora says he's changed, though.
