[and there's Jim, leaning against a wall- something shiny in his hands. breathing on it he then wipes it with his shirt, making sure it looked perfect. it was a fantastic find, this quartz egg-shaped jewel.

he was looking at it from all angles, grinning.

it was perfect.

now, he didn't know about the people here, but where he came from they celebrated today as 'father's day'.

Jim hasn't had a father in a long time... and, uh... blood relation didn't count anyway. the person he was planning to give this to was more than a father than his own ever was.

he just didn't know how to present it- wasn't really good at this sort of thing]
