Twilight Town Roxas
[There's is an unusual rising alto of the far off laughter of children, growing all the more prevalent directly behind one picture-perfect maze-inducing wall. Eventually that all too distinctive noise becomes tremendously loud, and as this crescendo of sound peaks the illuminated blue halo of a doorway comes into sight. No sooner has this portal of sorts appeared one face we're all acquainted to, body included, comes barging through said door only to slam it shut. The boy must have been running if his winded posture and laughter-laced gasps are proof enough.]
H-hold on guys! Let me just grab it from my room and I'll be down in a-
[That frame through which he'd stumbled is all at once blocked with one fell swoop of the door jamming itself snugly into place. Naturally Roxas reaches to casually return his exit to it's former stance..right as it fades, melting into the wall and working in reverse to how he'd arrived.]
T-.. That's. That's not possible.
[His motions become frantic and there is much pawing at the wall in his ever growing confusion.]
Hayner! Pence! O-olette?
...Guys?
Can you hear me?

...Guys?
Can you hear me?

no subject
..Roxas?
[maybe it's the one she knows]
no subject
Olette!
How did you...?
[Roxas turns to see if he'd somehow hallucinated those last few moments, but there is still the eerie and unchanged fact that his enterence appears to have never existed.]
Where's Pence and Hayner? And for that matter-
[Finally takes in his surroundings with a jolt.]
Where. Are. We?
no subject
Same as you, I guess.
[..hmm. nothing different from her Roxas so far. Maybe it is him. ]
Oh, I'm sure they're around here somewhere~. I've been told this is a crossroads of...demensions.
no subject
[Head tilts as the clock, and time itself, ticks merrily on.]
Is this payback for earlier?
Because-
You're..you're kidding, right?
no subject
...Payback?
no subject
Nevermind. It's nothing.
[There's a scramble for a smile as he straightens, wearing his best look of false confidence.]
So you've -seen- Pence and Hayner around or-
[Roxas was afraid to mention the rest.]
no subject
Not...net yet. But they've got to be here somewhere, right?
[here, have a hopeful smile]
no subject
You're right, Olette.
If we're here then there's no reason that they shouldn't be as well.
[Scratches at the back of his head in thought.]
How hard can it be to find them if we work together?
no subject
Not as hard as it would be working alone~
no subject
[Have a wide grin as he coaxes you along the carpeted path.]
Come on then, we can start down this hallway and work ourselves around.
no subject
Um...
no subject
[And it seems like all the air is leaking out of Roxas' body as his mind hiccups over the skirt. It just can't process that at the moment.]
...Uh.
[There's an intelligent glance upward as thoughts force themselves into cohesion.]
Where is this place? I..was just in my room..and-
no subject
It's a world where thousands of other worlds and dimensions have people sucked in daily. There's no way out.
no subject
[Roxas backs up enough to hit the wall behind him, body instinctively looking for support the instant before both knees try and buckle.]
Thousands of worlds.
And no way-....
[The boy wants to convince himself that he's dreaming, but the structure behind him as well a the pin-prick of nails curling into skin suggest otherwise.]
Did I..do something wrong to end up here?
no subject
I don't know. A lot of people don't know or like that they've come here. You're definitely not alone, but I'm not going to lie to you, this place isn't very safe or sanitary.
There's lots of good people, and there's lots of bad. Some know magic and some are just plain twisted. I think you should steer clear of any guys named "Axel" unless they prove to you they're good guys, 'cause the majority of them are crazy.
There's a lot of... perverts here, too. Anyone will walk in on you in your room, so you have to lock your door a lot.
no subject
It's not safe.
There's...magic.
A-and there's...perverts and peeping toms?
[Unconsciously he squeezes onto the other boy's hand, feeling a wash of calm in the simple gesture.]
Plus- this Axe... Axe, right? ...is someone I need to avoid.
Think I've got it.
[He recites the list, trying to make sure that all of the above was what the brunet had said, and wasn't misheard amongst the erratic fluttering of his heart as it was doused in fear.]
no subject
It's not the only thing that's here, but just be wary and prepared for it.
[the squeeze is enough for him to smile, and he hopes the other might, too.]
Otherwise, w-welcome, heh! If you're not comfortable with the idea of staying by yourself in your own room, you could stay with me for a little. Otherwise, I can just show you a hall where you won't be bothered.
no subject
If it's no problem for you...
I'd be grateful.
[Eventually lets go of his companion's hand, though not without giving it a friendly shake.]
I'm Roxas.
no subject
[grins wide-- and then oh, his face falls a little, with a nervous chuckle.]
One thing though, I wear stuff like this often.
[tugs at the bottom of his skirt.] It's just something I do. I'll stop if it weirds you out, though.
[because lord knows most boys wouldn't want to wake up to another one hopping into a dress.]
--and, it's Axel.
no subject
Gotcha.
And- no, you're fine. I'm not going to stop you from doing what you like.
[Big grin at the thought though. He's touched that you'd go to such lengths for his peace of mind.]
I feel lucky to have run into you first, Sora. Instead of one of those loons you mentioned. That would have been awful.
no subject
Alright. My room's between the bathroom and the kitchen, so it'll be easy to get to the essential places you need.
[grins wide.]
And.. thanks. I'm glad you feel that way. I'm glad I could help you, too.
no subject
[Sheepish look for being a burden.]
And, no. Thank you Sora.
I hope I can return the favor, if you ever are in half as much trouble as I was.
no subject
no subject
Thanks, Sora.
no subject
[hands on his hips. all he needs is a cape and a leotard, now. Super Sora!]
You hungry or anything?
