[Blind-folds, blind-folds...everywhere. Some thought they were the hottest new fashion straight off the runway in Milan. Others obviously had more 'unique' and private motivations for the glorified fabric scraps.

And this particular Fire-Starter was making use of it for, essentially, the same basic principle: Heightening all remaining sensations, once sight has been locked behind closed doors. Or, as much of a lock and key said article...which was likely cut out of the contents of some soon to be furious resident's closet.....can suffice as.

Why exactly did this particular Axel have a penchant for the above?

Well you know what they say about Old Habits and them being hard to murder, maim and other wise send packing to the bottom of the Hudson River- assassin or no.

Therefore that may explain the lengthy blade he's wielding amongst an obvious 'practice set-up'.]

[That quip deserves an actual pause, and tilt of head. The blindfold stays, however. He's yet to feel sufficient enough cause to have to launch into the tedious task of removal only to replace it again.]


It may be appealing to watch, but the use of swords....and any weapon...is wrought with danger and an equal demand for as much responsibility to counter-balance it.

[Winds up tapping his shoulder with the blade, synchronizing it with his internal contemplation.}

Those of us who have needed to make use of such devices are not ones who likely find it as entertaining as a spectator.

....Though, it's pleasant to be appreciated.

[Axel couldn't see, for obvious reasons, but the scant rustle of fabric and shift of shoes suggest said alteration of posture. And if the 'mister' and 'cool' commentary wasn't enough, he's got this person pegged as a child from their body language, no doubt.]

So... classic question every grown up asks a munchkin:

[Mouth twitches, feeling a small pang.....for more than one reason. Brilliantly Axel picks now to realize whose voice that is, or who it ought to belong to. The persistent title informs him of how it absolutely must be another verse's blonde..regardless of the oh so familiar sound. Though...It's the most -painfully- obvious epiphany in the universe, enough to make him wonder if he was purposely ignoring that little fact.]

No child deserved to believe that they were typically disliked, even if consequences had occurred to accidentally warrant it. The 'eye' mention gave him some suggestion as to what the problem might be....and people were not always forgiving to the atypical.]

[It's certainly interesting what can be seen simply by walking around here in the dressing room. Roxas' footsteps slow and then stop completely as he notices the blindfolded Axel wielding ... a sword?

[Axel pauses in his efforts to counter against unseen foes, his head canting just enough to aim an ear in the direction of the newcomer. From the lack of any voice it's impossible to discern his spectator, and the blindfold is....too much of a reprieve from seeing too many faces that he's loathe to take it off, outside of being in peril.]
