....It's so a-ma-zing....
[Blind-folds, blind-folds...everywhere. Some thought they were the hottest new fashion straight off the runway in Milan. Others obviously had more 'unique' and private motivations for the glorified fabric scraps.
And this particular Fire-Starter was making use of it for, essentially, the same basic principle: Heightening all remaining sensations, once sight has been locked behind closed doors. Or, as much of a lock and key said article...which was likely cut out of the contents of some soon to be furious resident's closet.....can suffice as.
Why exactly did this particular Axel have a penchant for the above?
Well you know what they say about Old Habits and them being hard to murder, maim and other wise send packing to the bottom of the Hudson River- assassin or no.
Therefore that may explain the lengthy blade he's wielding amongst an obvious 'practice set-up'.]

What'cha doin' mister?

Working on my swordsmanship.
Do you have much interest or knowledge in them?
[Doesn't miss a beat despite the small talk as his weapon slides around to be exchanged from one hand to another.]
no subject
Nope. I've never done something so cool.

It may be appealing to watch, but the use of swords....and any weapon...is wrought with danger and an equal demand for as much responsibility to counter-balance it.
[Winds up tapping his shoulder with the blade, synchronizing it with his internal contemplation.}
Those of us who have needed to make use of such devices are not ones who likely find it as entertaining as a spectator.
....Though, it's pleasant to be appreciated.
[Tosses a smirk in your directon.]

[and he straightens slightly, trying to be more serious, or maybe seem more mature and grown up. No one can really say]

So... classic question every grown up asks a munchkin:
What do you want to be when you grow up, kiddo?
Sword-thrower?
[He's jesting about the last one, and not all too sure why the previous inquiry is posed. Call it burning up what's left of 'All the time in the world', here. A dead man's got to keep busy, yes?]

[And he scuffs the floor with his shoe, biting his lip]
Never thought about it before.

Everyone has a talent, kid.
I bet you have your own incredible skills which will take you far.
Really.
[Clears throat after that, shaking off the discomfort in getting a little too buddy-buddy with someone he knows not from Adam.]

O-ho~?
You'd be Head Honcho, eh?
Yeah. I could 'see' that.

Imagine being here permits you to put things like pondering that that on hold...

Mmhm.....
Always nice to be noticed for what you have.
[Rotates the blade within his hand, thoughtfully- all while keeping tabs on where the youth is located. Wouldn't want him to get close enough to wind up harmed.]

Even if it's not much to be appreciated by a dead guy...
You're okay in my book.
no subject
Thank you, mister!
Going to go crash, but maybe I'll catch you later Chibi.
Anytime, Kiddo~.

Hm. No chakrams. This is different from what he is used to seeing....]
no subject
...Mn?
sorry! i think i joined a little late for you....
You're not wielding chakrams. I don't think I've ever seen an Axel with a sword before.
