[Axel skids out into the hallway, wearing a backpack backwards, something obviously inside. He's lost track of of where the library(s) is(are), but even if he knew where it was, he wouldn't know where to start looking for the book he needs.]

Guys? [gives a worried glance down into the backpack on his chest] Anybody know anything about motherhood?

Gently pick it up and check under its tail. Medical school didn't touch much on dragons, but other animals had organs there that differed by gender.

I could always go look for a book on them? I'm sure this place has them somewhere.

Maybe they're like lizards and you really just have to guess.

--Or stick them around other dragons. If they start up with that whole 'asserting dominance' thing, it's pretty obvious who's what.

Gonna run with a simple steak-or-salad test for now. Set them both out and whatever she doesn't eat, I'll finish off. Everybody wins.
