[Axel skids out into the hallway, wearing a backpack backwards, something obviously inside. He's lost track of of where the library(s) is(are), but even if he knew where it was, he wouldn't know where to start looking for the book he needs.]

Guys? [gives a worried glance down into the backpack on his chest] Anybody know anything about motherhood?

You get to act like a real grown-up. You've gotta take care of it no matter what. [he grins just a bit. It's sort of cute dictating this sort of thing to the kid]

You've got to keep it warm and safe from harm until it hatches--making sure it's not too hot or cold, and that you don't jostle it around too much. There's a baby dragon growing inside, so you've got to be careful. [sagely nod]
