[ he's standoffish only because he has never seen a human. ]

It's... a dressing room. Someone told me it was like a crossroads between worlds...

Yeah. [she nods]

Uh, not to be rude, but... What are you?

A lion.

Oh! [that sounds familiar.]

I've never seen a lion before. [fascinated]

I'm a sketchbook, but this is my travel form.

[pops into sketchbook-form long enough for him to see]

[Begins following instinctively, drawn to an adult like any small cub.]

[ aware of something following him. when he sees it's a lion cub, he's immediately smiling. ]

You look as lost as I am.

[Beams, now prancing proudly along side you.]

Yep! I've been here all mornin', so I'm even more lost!

[Not sure why this is a competition, but it is. And he won against the Big Male. How cool is that?]

[ cubs. he chuckles. ]

[Jumping and bouncing to try and match the stride of your paw-prints.]

[looks vaguely interested, flopped out on the cool marble floor]

[lifts his head a bit]

Oh my gosh! You're like a giant cat!!

[he's very excited & almost hopping up and down. he couldn't possibly sit still so he settles for jittering in place, staring with wide eyes.]
