[it was times like these where she wished she knew how to knit. she couldn't hold her egg all the time, so she needed to make a little nest for it. sighing to herself she cradled the egg with one arm, free hand on her hip]

Oh this is ridiculous... I need a hat and some clothes no one is using.

I'm looking for things to build a nest for my egg.

[takes it off] 'Cause it's fly.

If it's so 'fly' then why take it off?

[then she shook her head]

I can't. Not the shape I need to make a proper nest.

My head's getting hot! Do I have to have a reason for everything?

[arches eyebrow and tries to look intimidating] What kind of shape do you need?

[knowing smile, but she brushes it off]

Well... egg shape, mostly.

[glances down at the hat, turns it over and looks at it]

What, a shape like this?

Well... yeah. But I was thinking of something a little more... cozy.

[eyes that ever-so-manly hat on his head]

I mean... it wouldn't be for long...

...Well it wouldn't get dirty, would it? [crosses arms and stares]

[brightens, then hesitates before adding]

I'll even name my dragon after you.

Oh yeah? Well, in that case, sure. You can borrow it. [takes it off and hands it to her] Always wanted something named after me.

[that... was surprisingly easy! very surprised that he was letting her borrow it, she took it with a blink of surprise]

Oh, yeah. Of course.

[slips the egg into his hat, smiling]

Don't worry, I think it will hatch soon anyway, see the cracks? And then we'll have a baby Seifer dragon running around.

[folds arms and grins] Excellent.

Now I have to find a new hat. Let me know how it goes, Olette. [turns, waves without looking as he walks off]

[brightens considerably, haven't seen Pence since she's got here]

Look what I found! I want to build a little nest for it, and I think using clothes and hats would be a good idea.

Oh wow, are those dragon eggs? I only saw full grown up ones, but I've never seen the eggs before. [Geek time]

Uh-huh. I found one on my first night here. I'm really excited about it!

One is already cracking. I think a nest won't just do. According to something I read, dragons need a large amount of heat to help them hatch and grow.

So... what do you think I should use?

Hm. Something like a small stone fire pit.

[hmmms, inspecting the egg]

Will you help me make it?
