[ infamous for odd pets, Roxas has yet another animal with him. it curls over his left shoulder, slips behind his neck and slinks around his right arm.

it's awfully long for a pet, but he doesn't care. it's a beautiful python~. ]

[ looks up, immediately cheered but still wary, and lifts the arm with the snake up. being a popular pet, the python is docile and very tame. ]

[smiles back at him, happy to have made him so happy, reaches out and hestitantly strokes the python]

Huh... Feels weird. [nervous laugh, slowly pulls hand away]

[ooc: Oh you'll learn to like it, Axel.]

[ he's happier than before now that he got Axel to at least touch it. he doesn't understand his fear of snakes, but Roxas is fearless and just a teeny bit sheltered. ]

[nervous grin, still looking at the snake] I mean really, what if it strangles you? You have something to keep it in, right?

[really wants to know where he found it in the DR - how creepy is that. Time to sleep with the light on.]

[ nods his head and slowly unwraps the snake from around his neck. since the snake is so big he keeps a large tank in his room. he pulls on Axel's sleeve to take him along. ]

{ ooc; r- rofl now I imagine Roxas sneaking into his room pretending to be a snake or something. }

Ehh... [follows after him, staring at the snake, wondering what he's going to be shown now...]

[ooc: That would be amazing. xD]

[ he opens the door to a room with fishtanks against every wall. most of them contain exotic fish from coral reefs, but others house aquatic animals never seen before; the squigglet for example.

there are other tanks too, like the big one for his snake and another for his frog, but there is nothing else besides furniture. ]

{ ooc; I'd ttly do it. }

...Wow. [stands and takes it all in]

I had no idea this was here.

[walks up to each tank and has a good look] It's like a zoo in here...

[stands in front of the exotic fish and smiles] The whole place is really perfect for you.

[ when the snake is safe and he's wiped his arms and neck free of snake germs, he returns to Axel's side. he looks at the fish and smiles.

Roxas finds himself leaning to the side slowly, ultimately resting against Axel. he has his face turned away toward a different tank but does not move away. ]

[glances down at Roxas with a smile]

[surprised at this touch, doesn't really acknowledge it for fear of him backing off]

[smiles and watches the fish] ....

[ by that smile he guesses it's okay to keep leaning against him. he's relaxed, guard dropped, but stops himself when he raises his arms to give Axel a hug.

but he can only stop himself for so long. they're the only people in the room so he feels safe enough; he hugs the other with a big smile. ]

[genuinely surprised by this] Roxas...

[puts an arm around him] ...Nevermind. [smiles]

[ his arms slide until they fall; he thinks he made a mistake, and looks up with a frown. ]

[confused frown right back down at him]

... [kisses his forehead and smiles]

[ covers his forehead, just like before, still staring up. ]

[all smiles, brushes some hair out of Roxas' face] What?

[ he's still, eyebrows drawn together in thought. he brings his arms up around Axel again and tries a smile of his own again. he wants to know why he said "nevermind" more than anything but doesn't want to be rude. ]

[just looking at him, wondering what his expression's about]

[returns the embrace, though still a little confused, Roxas is usually so distant]

[doesn't want to say anything]

[ the awkward silence doesn't do much for him. he's unsettled again and seeks comfort, cheek resting against his chest. there's no heartbeat and it creeps him, but it's okay because the rise and fall of the other's chest is enough. ]

[ooc: Sorry for the delay! Ack.]

[shuddery breath, looks down his nose at Roxas]

[G-geez, why am I so worked up about this?]

[reaches up and brushes some more hair from Roxas' face, runs his fingers through it and smiles, takes his hand under his chin and gently pulls his face up to have a good look at Roxas' eyes]

[ he's surprised by this action, now trying to lean back, but he changes his mind. he reaches up and urges Axel to lean down; he follows the other's lead and leaves a kiss on his forehead. ]

[b-blushes]

[looks at him] ...

[laughs] Aahh... You're so cute. [glances up at him, laughs a little more]

Very different from the Roxas I met.

[ not cute! he pulls away from him then, head down in embarrassment. ]

[arches eyebrow with a smirk] Okay, if you aren't cute, what should I call you?

[ grabs a pad of paper and a pencil and writes, ]
