Finally settling in
[So he's cleaned up--looking less like a burnt hobo and more like a productive, sane member of society. Given a proper haircut and a change of clothes, Axel's gone off to find himself a room to live in, because sleeping in hallways isn't his idea of a good time.
--but upon finding some place suitable, he immediately tacks up a notice. Just one this time (as opposed to the hundred something of "Cube warnings" he posted in paranoid fit), right outside his room in the hall.

You're not a bad mommy.
[ooc; fff, oh god, don't even get me started on my old rp logs. s-so bad.]

[IS TOO FAR FROM THE DESK TO HEADDESK PROPERLYSFKJW XD But before further embarrassments can be had, he realizes something]
Oh yeah--that's right, before I forget... I'd been meaning to ask you-- [He steps back over to the bed, rummaging around in Roxy's nest of covers, pulling out a large green egg.] --do these things reproduce asexually, or just appear on their own like everything else?
[ooc: auuugh i couldn't resist @_@

[e-evill]
Oh, there's a room that just makes them. It's neat. I found them and showed someone, and it just blew up from there, kinda.
[ooc; hahaha JUST AS PLANNED]

This place still blows my mind... [he takes a seat on the bottom bunk, mulling it over]
Some guy told me that this place kept us here to sustain itself... But in a way...doesn't it make sense? A place that creates what a person desires...needs someone to desire, doesn't it?
But to keep sustaining the desires of more, it needs more people to--well, it runs sort of in circles now that I think about it. --like this place will never be satisfied... it just keeps pulling more and more people in.
[Shakes his head]
Eh...All this deep-chatter is making my head spin.

Life's not all skittles and beer, kid. [looks a little dejected as well]
. . .
You uh...wanna go get an icecream or something?
no subject
[smiles at him, a little amused]
I guess, sure.
no subject
Huh...Drumstick...haven't had one of these in years... [he smiles and gives a light shrug] So, lighter note--what've you been doing since you got here? --the dressing room I mean.
no subject
mmm, just talking to people mainly... you?
no subject
I nearly caught myself on fire and killed myself trying to blast my way out of here... Got a haircut, this place--you gave me Roxy and I found Chell... [shrugs]
That's been about it.
no subject
Chell? That's what you named the egg, or the dragon?
[blink]
no subject
--but Chell's the dragon in the egg--whenever it hatches that this. Gotta get it used to it's name early, right?

She was stuck in a nasty place too, but she stuck through it and got out. Sort of a hopeful name.

[smiles]
Pretty. What if it's a boy though?

no subject
Neither am I. Most of mine still lack names...
no subject
Then...heh...maybe I can help out?

I mean, this can't be hard, right? How many do you have anyway?
no subject
Uhh, about 30.
no subject
A-alright then...thirty...so where are the little angels?
no subject
This way~
[shows them into the room where all are, most sleeping in the little mess of sheets and such that's in a corner.]
