[have a Riku dressed in a tan suit, looking confused]
... Where am I?
[ooc: because I lack self-control, here's a Light Yagami!Riku. Yeah. Info's in his profile, but if anyone wants to play anyone from his universe, go for it? :D]

The dressing room, or rather, a crossroad of worlds. There are other versions of you here, from other universes.
no subject
...Great. [sighs] I don't suppose there's a way out?

(she overhears his full name)
Weird. He has the same name as Light from Death...Note...
(and it clicks)
Oh. Wow.
no subject
... Hell.
no subject
no subject
uh-oh. he'd left his death note at home...]
no subject
(her other absolutely DESPISED Light. she was glad when he died at the end of the series, felt that it served him right)
no subject
Yes.
no subject
(/sarcasm, down to the air quotes. )
no subject
How much do you know.
no subject
(she proceeds to rattle off the rules of the Death Note she can remember, it's been a while since she last read it, so she doesn't remember all of it.)
no subject
... Okay, so you know... enough.
How?
no subject
Okay, the world I came from is different than most. In mine, 'Death Note' is a book series, and it's basically your life. Well, just when all the stuff with Kira starts, anyways. The main characters different, though, his name's Light, not Riku.
I read the entire series.
no subject
... A book series. Okay, that's weird.
no subject
It gets weirder. As it turned out, a video game was real. I've spent the last few months on a different worlds than Earth.
And, before you assume I'm crazy, how would I know so much about the Death Note if I was just crazy?
no subject
Wonderful. I'm sure I'll love this place.
[hi there sarcasm.]
no subject
I'm surprised it meets your approval.

Nice suit.
(he says it casually, like it's normal to see younger versions of himself. which, well, it is)
no subject
Er, thank you.
no subject
(he pauses, this guy must be new. Even though he almost definitely has the same first name as him, he figures he should introduce himself)
My name's Riku Freiser. Welcome to the Dressing Room.
(holds out hand for handshake. this one, of course, is the one with his wedding ring on it)
no subject
[shakes his hand, businesslike. and just. pretending not to see that wedding ring]
no subject
So, you're new here, right? Do you already know about the whole 'crossroads-of-worlds' thing?
(lol try to ignore the wedding and engagement rings he has on a necklace, then.)
no subject
[oh, he sees them, but he's saying nothing.]
no subject
No clue. I was just about to stop my kid from eating cookies after his bed time when it happened. I opened the door, and bam, I was here.
(he keeps forgetting that not everyone's used to the idea of another version of them having a kid)
no subject
This is just great.
no subject
(he grins. hah, you think that's weird?)
There are at least three other versions of you who are dads, plus me. Each of us is married to a different person. It's...interesting, to say the least.
no subject
Are there many of...us, then?
no subject
(he pauses to think)
Nine hundred and something.
There are lots of us, put simply.
no subject
[already wondering how many of them will have to be subjected to Kira's justice]

no subject
Is it that bad?
no subject
You'll know what I'm talking about when you've been here a few days. No one's found a way out yet.
no subject
I'm sure it will get better.
[is someone already planning to set up shop as Kira here? oh yes.]
no subject
((haha, the funny thing is in the RP where I normally use this journal, she's probably going to get killed by Kira))
no subject
[ooc: hopefully this one will see a Sora and decide against killing half the DR's inhabitants]

[raises an eyebrow]

See for yourself, I guess.
[and she's walking away.]
