live alone with just.
[not at the piano, not with a guitar, but simply tapping against the table with a flat hand and a cupped hand. he's waiting for the water to boil, singing idly.]
I walked, I ran, I jumped, I flew,
Right off the ground to float to you.
There's no gravity to hold me down, for real,
But somehow I'm still alive inside,
You took my breath, but I survived.
I don't know how, but I don't even care.
So how do you expect me
To live alone with just me?
'Cause my world revolves around you,
It's so hard for me to breathe...

Actually, different tea leaves open at different times.
Black tea leaves, for example, open just a little over 95 degrees. If they don't open completely, the aroma and color isn't properly released and it tastes too watery. If you boil the water too high, the tea turns bitter.

I wish you would step back from that ledge my friend,
You could cut ties with all the lies, that you've been living in,
And if you do not want to see me again, I would understand.

[lifts his mug to his lips, eyes watching Riku over the rim. He's tempted to ask how Riku is feeling after their earlier - ahem - activities, but refrains]
