.. seriously, what the hell? I'm starting to think you're all insane.

[--raises an eyebrow.]

What?

[--mph. if only he could talk. silent sigh, he waves a hand irritatedly.]

[just kind of blinks at him. tilts his head curiously while he's at it.]

What's wrong?

[takes the notepad around his neck, writing down something. shows it to him.]

If everyone here was insane, I don't think you'd be alive.

[blink, then -- maybe smiles.]

Yeah, I know. Just saying. From what I've heard, people have been really -- crazy, lately. Some people, anyway.

[he nods, almost grudgingly.]

Like the vampire I've heard about. And a sex god. And... well.

Yeah, exactly. It's been weird. And sometimes.. [frowning, now.] I just have a hard enough time keeping track of my Axel as is. If something happened to him while I wasn't around.. [quietly clenches a fist.]

[cough, step back. Riku gives him a 'you do that' sort of look. does he like Axels? consult the large wound on his neck.]

[knits his brow, nearly taking a step forward.] What- [well hey, finally catches sight of that wound and his eyes go big.] You don't mean.. [he gestures to it.]

[his own eyebrows grow up, and he realizes what he's staring at with a silent sigh.]

My Axel did that, I don't think yours did.

If mine did, I'd kill him myself. [clears his throat with a sharp frown] No, it just .. bothers me. You okay?

[he pauses, then gives a slight shrug.]

Dying wasn't that eventful. I really hate not talking, though. It kind of gives me a bad name, not being able to snark at everything that walks.

[opens his mouth ... shuts it. looks like he feels kind of bad for the guy, despite not actually being able to.]

You're doing a pretty good job with that notepad. But .. why did that take your ability to talk?

[silent sigh, and he tilts his head up. points to just behind the large scar, then writes;]

The voice folds are right there. When his chakram went through my throat, they destroyed them completely. No voice folds, no voice, no sound.

.. and no one here could heal that? I mean, I've heard there are gods around. You'd think someone could do something.

[shrugs a little.]

I haven't asked around, really. I think once you're dead, you're dead and everything stays like that.

.. I guess. It could be worth a shot, though. I wouldn't mind asking around for you.

[nods a little.]

I guess it's okay, if you want to do it.

Yeah. Can't hurt to try, right? I'll let you know how it goes.

[nods, mouthing a silent 'you too'.]
