[is sitting on a countertop in the bathroom adjoining the room he's been staying in, holding a wet cloth to the side of his neck and scowling at one of the mirrors. he's got some bandages in a little pile beside him but hasn't touched them just yet]

Figures I'd run into some fuckjob inside a few days. Kick his ass next time.

[is more or less grumbling to himself; he didn't exactly appreciate being bitten by a certain someone. several moments pass after he falls silent and he moves the cloth away just enough to inspect before pressing it to his throat again]
