[So where am I?

... This doesn't seem right. This isn't my house. Was I on a trip? Why would I go on a trip... Maybe this is someone else's house, though it doesn't really look like a house...]

[This Axel looks a little confused. He's wearing a nice button-up shirt and some jeans. He's also wearing a black jacket, and his own quick search reassures him that his polaroid camera is still in the pocket.]

This... Looks like a dressing room. What's with all the singing?

(ooc: Hope this hasn't been done before... Have an Axel with Anterograde Amnesia! He can't form new memories since his accident. Inspired-ish by the movie Memento. This should be interesting.)

Erm, I suppose you don't. But I'm sure you know a Roxas, right?

Of course. Roxas was ... In the accident with me. I think... And you're not him. You're not even a him. Remarkable resemblance, though. I think I've been drugged.

Well I am Roxas. Just a girl version if you will.

And no, you and 700 other people weren't drugged.

What's going on here, then? Not that it will matter long. Short explanations are nice. Actually, hang on. [searches his pockets quickly and finds a pen and a small pad of paper] Okay. What's going on here?

You're in a dressing room. There are people all from different dimensions here who look like you or people you might know. We all come from our different worlds and we have no clue how we got here.

...and why are you writing this all down?

[writes it down quickly, mostly in shorthand, then pauses to look at what he's written] This... Oh, I'm sorry. I haven't explained it to you. Forgot. Haha! Forgot!

I have this condition. I can't make new memories, I don't remember things for very long, so I have to write it down otherwise I'll have to ask someone this every time I forget. Which I'll do, a lot.

[Looks at what he's written again] Wait, have I told you all this before? Are you just messing with me? Because this, [taps at the paper] is impossible.

Umm, considering I just met you, no. And yeah, it seems weird but really, take a look around you.

... [adds to the note: accordng to chick Roxas, this is true. But can I believe her?]

Well. Um... You don't seem freaked out at all by this. This is... normal, then?

I've been stuck here for weeks. Not much fazes me now.

[a grin]

Including the fact that I'm now dating a female version of you.

A... female me. [makes a note of that] That might be interesting to see. Do I make a hot chick?

Oh, very much so.

Very cool. [writes that detail down, too, while he's at it]

[laughs]

Yep. You'll get used to it here, promise.

Oh, that's impossible. If something distracts me or I lose track of my thoughts, poof, gone, and I start all over again. Actually, while I'm thinking about it... [pulls out the camera and holds it up] Smile? [snaps a picture]

[blink]

Well than.

Sorry. [shakes the picture a bit, waiting for it to develop] It'll help me remember you. Well, not remember. I'll at least know who you are.

Oh, okay.

Yup. [writes "Female Roxas" on the back of the photo] Anything else you can tell me about this place that I might need to know?

Watch out for the crazies, they're usually easy to spot even if you don't remember them. The kitchen is on the right in the second hallway, and don't piss off my brother.

Who is your brother?

Well, he isn't actually my brother. It seems I'm becoming everyone's sister or mom here, but I started calling him my brother jokingly. He's a Roxas too, but he isn't hard to pick out due to the goat horns and tail and all.

... Have I stepped into a bad sci-fi movie? All right. I'll make note of that, too.

If only. He's a demon who just came back from hell apparently.

Okay. Is there an exit, or have I asked that already? I've... [flips a few pages back on his pad of paper] I've got a doctor's appointment later today.

Sorry, no one knows how to get out of here.

... Good. That's probably why you already told me where the kitchens were. [runs a hand over his face] Wow. I'm going to miss that appointment. [rips that paper out and crumples it up] Oh well, give it a bit, maybe a couple seconds even, and I won't care.

Must be hard.

It can be. It's... Something I'm learning to live with.
