[feeling along walls, trying to get somewhere, and promptly runs into one. There's a moment where he draws in a slow breath, looking like he's trying to calm himself, and then abruptly, he slams his fists into the walls. One fist barely makes a dent, the other, punching steady holes in that heal, even if he can't see it. He doesn't know where he is, or what room it is, but when he's done with the wall, he turns, and trips over something else, and lands hard on the ground, eyes burning with tears. He doesn't get up for a long moment, but when he does, he simply shoves the couch against the wall, listening to it crack and break.]

I hate this.

[whispers it, and deflates abruptly, shoulders shaking]

Just. An empty room. I don't know where I am.

Okay. I can help there. I think maybe a bedroom will work.

[hesitates]

How do we want to do this? [He really isn't in the mood to get whacked again.]

[Swings his head up]

I can walk, okay? I'm not a child.

[Clamps down on a few choice words at Sora's misunderstanding of his intentions.]

I know that. [There still is an annoyed tone to his voice, though.]

I meant, do you want me to keep talking, and you can follow the sound of my voice, or what?

I don't...

I'm sorry.

[rubs his eyes a bit, exhaling]

I'm sorry.

[Shakes his head, his voice softening.]

It's okay. Just -- put your right hand on the wall next to you, and I'll talk you through it, all right?

[nods; he doesn't need enemies in this place, only friends]

Okay.

[does so]

Okay. You're in one of the bigger rooms that I've seen here. If this place were a house, this would be like a living room. There's a TV and a coffee table and some sitting chairs and two couches in here. I think you've already met one of the couches, though. [The last sentence is spoken a little dryly, but not meanly.]

Once we walk out of here, we'll be in the main hallway, and then we'll head left down a smaller hallway and find you a bedroom.

Sound good?

It was a stupid couch anyway.

[attempts the joke, sighing softly. He stands straight, hand on the wall, swallowing]

And ugly too. I certainly won't miss it. [Roxas looks down at the remains of the garishly colored couch and chuckles encouragingly.]

So walk forward about two steps and then walk around the table -- it's about knee high -- and then you'll be able to feel the wall again.

I wouldn't know.

[does so, groping for the wall, sighing]

Okay?

[Thinks about it and tries to come up with comparison that Sora would be able to understand without being able to actually see the couch.] Well, if the colors of this couch were sounds, it'd sound like fingernails on a chalkboard.

[Walks at arms length beside Sora, making sure that his footsteps are deliberate so that Sora can hear him.]

A few more steps and you'll feel the opening from this room to the hallway.

[is thankful for the help, slowly, slowly making his way, feet hesitant, arms and hands groping until he's at the hallway]

...A...Alright.

Good. Now we're going to go left down the main hallway. It's kind of long, but if you just stay close to the wall, I'll stay on your other side, and it should be okay.

Okay. Th-thank you.

[leads himself along the wall, sighing]

No problem. Just try not to jump if I get a little close to you since there this hallway tends to get a lot of traffic.

[And, as if to prove his point, Roxas is forced to brush shoulders with Sora because of being squeezed to the side of the hallway by a group of people walking the other way.]

I'll....be fine.

[keeps his fingers leading him, walking slowly, swallowing]

[Follows along until they reach a turning point.]

We're going to go right in a moment down a smaller hallway. There's several of these that branch off of the big hallway.

Um. There's lots of doors down this next hallway, but they all open inwards, so we shouldn't get smacked by any of them. Just don't lean against the doors when you come across them in case someone decides to open them from the other side.

[Roxas would offer to guide Sora by actually touching him somehow himself if he didn't think that the idea would be completely unwelcomed.]

[wants to do this himself, so he won't accept any touchy-help, swallowing and continuing on, frowning]

Where are the bedrooms?

Down this hallway.

[This secondary hallway has different acoustics since it's considerably smaller than the big hallway, so Sora might be able to hear the difference in the size of the area when Roxas speaks.]

I think most of these rooms are still available ... there should be an empty one the third door on the right.

[notices, counting his steps silently to himself, mouthing the words as he goes]

Okay.

Is it locked?

[Some people lock their doors after claiming a room, others don't ... but, at least if it's locked, it makes it easier to know not to barge right on in.]

[gropes around for a door-handle, popping it open and shaking his head]

Doesn't seem to be?

Hopefully, no one else in already in here. Shall we go in?

[Stands next to Sora, ready to summon Oathkeeper should the need arise once the door is opened.]

[puuuuushes it open, listening to it creak, repeating the numbers to himself as he goes in slowly]
