[What's that, you say? It's summertime in the DR? That means it's time for the seasonal inauguration of Ri's Fabulous Grill. This handsome and manly Replica is out and about and happily grilling up most any animal product you can think up to set on fire and eat. Oh, and some corn and veggies and stuff for all you frou-frou herbivores or whatever.

It smells delicious. You should get some.]

[He's even making Nami some cute little sliders for nomming, since they're easier for little hands to hold.]

Did you want cheese, Nami?

Alright. Bring your plate over then.

[Ri adds cheese to the trio of sliders and lets it get all melty before adding the top buns]

[Brings! Melted cheese on stuff is the best :D It also smells amazing which is a plus.]

[Ri will carefully put the sliders on Nami's plate, then give her a pat on the head]

Don't get a tummyache now, okay?

[Cause that would mean she would have to stop eating. And that's bad at these events.]

[Here comes a Riku, following his nose. He looks a little stunned at all the food he can smell coming from what he knows isn't a kitchen.]

[Nope, no kitchen. Just pretty much in the middle of a hallway-ish area. There's even a few picnic tables to hold all the chips and soda and things like that. Ri will be looking up over his grill when Riku wanders by, but is friendly enough.]

Yo. Here for some grub?

Is there a party or something I hadn't heard about?

[Oh yay, obstacles. He's not using a cane today, having decided he needed to get used to handling situations without one. Riku's eyes seek out the source of Ri's voice, and he's listening for any other clues he might pick up.]

Sure, why not? It's officially grilling season!

[Well, Ri is positioned in front of the grill, which is making sizzling noises and is the source of the wonderful meat smells.]

[This might be more of a challenge than he was ready for he thinks, having just bumped into one of the tables. His hands move to quickly catch a stack of plastic cups when he hears them knock over. Fingers skimming the table briefly, he tries to disguise the movement as smoothing out the table cloth.]

I suppose I'm just not used to so much excitement over the days getting warmer.

[At least there's noting breakable out.]

Don't tell me you're anti-barbeque. I'd have to object strenuously. And then kick your ass. And you won't get any food either.

[ Sora's on his way with a pan of fresh buns and a big cup of coffee, making laser noises with each step! ]

[windup_boytoy]

[Ri brightens up considerably once he sees Sora... and the coffee.]

Is there a reason why the food is making noises, Sora?

[ He lays the buns down on the folding table and slurps his coffee. ]

Because I had a lot of coffee! That smells good can I have a bite?

[windup_boytoy]

You can have a bite if I can have the coffee.

It's coconut mocha! It's the best!

[ He hands you the cup. This is probably for the best, because his belly is empty and he's running on about five cups of coffee. Why? Because. ]

I want a burger.

[windup_boytoy]

[Ri is vaguely aware of Sora having had more coffee than is probably healthy at the moment, and will steal the cup away. He has no problems drinking, like, all of it. For Sora's well-being, of course.]

I'll make you any burger you want. Get your bun and I'll flip these patties.

[Okay, but what happens when a great big, big wolf comes sniffing?]

[... that gets Ri tensing up, because he's seen werewolves before, but he's not sure if this is someone's wayward pet, or if he needs to get with the attacking.]

[Honestly, she might feel the slightest bit familiar. Maybe not as much as she could, but enough. She doesn't look aggressive yet, just interested in the smell of meat.]

[windup_boytoy]

[Well, he's not being suddenly attacked, so that's got to be a good sign, right?]

... nice doggy.

[It's probably not a bad one! Her ears perk up when he speaks and she lifts her head, eyes focused on him. She's entirely still for a moment, then makes a sort of whining noise in her throat and pads closer.]

[windup_boytoy]

[Things are looking up, in a non-mauling sort of way, which is always an excellent option. Ri looks at the wolf, then at the grill, and things add up.]

Oh. You're hungry.
