[ Across the DR at any given time, there are several things happening that may be connected, may have a purpose, or link back to the same cause. These are not examples because they're completely unrelated.

Out of the game room stumbles a Riku, looking disoriented and a little wide-eyed. She seems okay, but something is definitely off, to say the least. It's weird. She feels, and not just to herself, a little like Red.

In the simulation room, currently blank, there's Aden, bleeding profusely down his front. He's got his hand clamped over his nose, but it's not really helping. There's no saving his shirt. ]

[that's not a question]

Right on my bony ass.

[He's going to lie down now, but he's being subtle about it. Totally not because he's feeling light-headed.]

That's what you get for trying it on your own.

[Kira sees right through your blatant misdirection and her hands will flutter nervously again]

You'll be okay if I leave you for a few minutes, right? Then I can get towels and maybe find potions and stuff.

I'm fine. Promise.

[He's just a little light-headed is all.]

You better be! You can think up a good excuse that I might believe for all this while I'm gone.

[Kira will dust herself off and hurry to the nearest bathroom. She'll bring back a whole bunch of stuff for any eventuality. Also, cotton balls for Aden to stuff up his nose.]

[He won't have an excuse, mostly because he's busy sitting in a small puddle of his own nose blood. Hopefully she doesn't scream, that would just make things worse.]

[Kira doesn't scream, but it's a near thing. She makes a startled screechy noise instead.]

ADEN! You said you'd be okay while I was gone!

[He raises one bloodied hand, keeping his eyes shut.]

I'm fine. Just don't get scared, alright?

[If she's not allowed to get scared, she's going to get angry instead, and start throwing towels on Aden and his immediate area. Your move, Aden.]

YOU'RE DOING THIS TO ME ON PURPOSE. THE BLOOD IS EVERYWHERE. LOOK. YOUR CLOTHES ARE RUINED.

Hey! What the hell--

[He's let go of his nose to block those towels, oof.]

Do you really think I wouldn't be showing this off all the time if I could do it on purpose?

MAYBE YOU JUST FOUND OUT YOU CAN DO IT AND NOW YOU'RE TRAUMATIZING ME. I WILL TOTALLY REORGANIZE YOUR OUTFITS FOR SUMMER. YOU CAN WEAR. WHITE. EVERYTHING.

You mean I can get everything completely filthy. I like how you apparently think I'm suicidal on top of everything.

[Sure, he'd traumatize her, but not like this!]

WELL I CAN'T TELL WHAT WITH YOU BLEEDING EVERYWHERE. I'LL PUT YOU IN PASTELS.

[Kira has run out of towels to throw, so now she'll be angrily setting down Potions and ice and cotton balls and band-aids and a bunch of other miscellaneous stuff that could be helpful.]

Maybe that'll just kill me in this state- whoa hey don't kill me for real!

[She is the only person who makes him feel legitimate terror.]

AT LEAST TRY AND BE HELPFUL. DRINK A POTION OR SOMETHING.

[Kira has carefully bred that fear into Aden over the years, just for situations like this. She'll be opening a bottle of water to wet some towels with for cleaning purposes.]

Yes ma'am.

[He scrambles to open and down a potion in record time! Luckily, it won't make his bleeding any worse.]

[Is the potion doing anything helpful besides not being destructive? Kira will be shoving a towel under Aden's nose and tilting his head back aggressively.]

HOLD THAT.

[It might have slowed down. Who knows? Hard to tell with all that blood in the way. He cooperates a little fearfully, watching her with wide and very wary eyes.]

Yes, mistress.

[Kira still looks furious, as evidenced by the way she physically manhandles Aden out his blood puddle, dragging his body across the floor to a clean place. She'll also be stripping him out of his bloody shirt, simply ripping it down the middle to get it off since it's ruined anyway.

... if Aden moves his head out of the tilted position, she will totally yank his hair to get it back in the right place.]

[He lets her do all of that without a fuss, looking increasingly alarmed and even a little flustered when he loses his shirt. It's not exactly new with Kira, but usually when he's forced out of his clothes it's under different circumstances. And yet, despite the bleeding and the manhandling... He just can't keep his mouth shut.]

There are totally easier ways to do that, y'know.

[Kira's glare could've totally set Aden on fire. In fact, he might be feeling a touch warmer.]

You don't get a choice. And drink another potion if you're still bleeding.

[Oh god he doesn't really want to die. Aden wisely keeps his mouth shut (for now) and picks up another potion to down. Maybe if he poured some in his nose.]

[Aden's face is now getting roughly scrubbed with one of those wet towels -- avoiding the nose area for now -- before Kira throws the towel onto Aden's chest. She clearly wants him to do something about the blood on his chest while she fetches another potion and roots through the medical supplies.]

Are you getting any better?

[He tosses it over a shoulder without bothering to clean up much more. It's not like he cares about being filthy with gore or anything.]

I don't know, I've got a towel stuck to my face. I could move it and check, but...

[Kira cracks open another water bottle, then proceeds to pour the whole thing over Aden's head.]

There! That should loosen things up!

[her smile does not say good things for Aden]
