[It's been a while since Nami's been seen in the art room. Her cane is propped against one of the tables, and there's a canvas laid out on top of the table. She's quietly running her fingers over the material, her blank eyes closed. Around the edge, memorizing the feel. Her little pink Pygmy Puff is sitting next to  the canvas, ready to help her find the correct paints.

She can't see. But her memory is more perfect than her sight. And she misses art.]

[As usual, Daddy is trailing after Nami. He doesn't want her to feel overly restrained, but after what happened, he'll be following her about with ferocity. Especially since she can't see.]

[She's got the cane at least? :D and little Filli the Puff lets her know if anything's up c:

Once she's memorized the size of the canvas and has it clearly pictured in her memory, she reaches for a paintbrush, Filli gently nudging it into contact with her fingers for her.]

[Nothing is as good as having Daddy stalk you for your own protection. He won't interrupt Nami's painting, but will settle nearby.]

[Stalker!Ri is the best bodyguard c:

She can't paint details anymore, but she can paint the shapes, and she still manages to place them in the right place on the canvas thanks to her memory. It's kind of like a kid version of Monet's style of painting.

Don't think she doesn't know Daddy's there though.]

[Well, Daddy isn't really trying to be quiet or stealthy, since he doesn't want to scare Nami. He'll just be here in case she needs him... or until he needs to rip the entrails out of a creepy person. :D]

[After a while she puts her brush down and lets Filli climb back to her shoulder. She needs to let the paint dry.

She picks up her cane and slowly walks over to where she can sense her Daddy.]

[windup_daddy]

[Once Nami is close enough, Daddy will be reaching out and gently pulling her into a hug.]

Done painting, Nami?

[missingcrayon]

[She will happily cling.]

Uh-huh.

[windup_daddy]

[Daddy likes clinging. :) He wants all his kids to stay tiny and agreeable because when they get older, they all get into trouble and don't listen to him. :/]

And did you have fun?

[Aw :c Poor Daddy.

I think I can still do art. Does it look okay?

Very pretty. We'll hang it up back home for everyone to see once it's dry.

[Not that he's a big judge of art, but it's beautiful just because Nami made it.]

[He's going to peek in a little to check on her.]

[She's just quietly trying to memorize this canvas. Filli will notice him though and give a little squeak to alert Namine that someone's here. She pauses and turns her head a little, listening and trying to sense him.]

Hello?

[... he'll shuffle in awkwardly and quietly as he usually does.]

It's me.

[She immediately relaxes and smiles in the direction of his voice.]

Hey.

[badfate]

[He doesn't know how to cheer up people, so he'll just. Settle next to her.]

[She's happy just having him near c:

She turns back to her painting in progress.]

After this, want to go get some ice cream?

... want me to get you some now?

We usually go get it together though.

[She gets enough fussing already :c she just needs a friend to act normal around with him.]
