[There's a closet in this hallway, and the sound of something banging on the door. It continues until there's a crack, then another, then the door splinters open and a Kairi with that one keyblade most associated with her stumbles out mid-rant.]

--funny! Where did that even come from?! I swear, I'm going to- to...

[She trails off, anger draining out of her as she lowers her weapon and stares at the unfamiliar surroundings.]

[Kairi will probably recognize the back of this one's head, all that bright red fluff and stuff. Maybe not so much in casual clothes, or when they're jammed up against a vending machine with their arm inside.]

Lea!

[Oh, she's getting all riled up again at a familiar... well, back of the head. She's not sure when Lea had time to change, or where that vending machine came from, or where they are, but that doesn't matter right now.]

[She bangs her head on the machine and leans back to look over her shoulder, shocked at hearing that name for once. Not "Axel"?? You're her new best friend, girl-Kai.]

What?

[Betcha that voice doesn't sound the same.]

[That stops her short, and she just stares for a moment, speechless. She's joked about Lea's girl hips before, but this is kind of different.]

Um.

[Give her a sec to extract her arm from the vending machine and stand up. She dusts herself off, and she's totally wearing a t-shirt and jeans, neither of which do anything to make her look more male.]

Go on, say whatever you're thinking.

[She'll be busy looking at the terrible mess you made of that door.]

Um.

[Possibly she's broken. She sounds a bit faint, actually, and is trying not to stare at Lea's chest. Staring at lady chests is kind of bad taste even as another lady, but. It's supposed to be flatter, what's going on.]

[Out of all her amazingly feminine features she focuses on those? God. She looks back at Kairi, looks down, and then promptly gets her hands under her own breasts. Ta da.]

Yes, they're real! Now you can stop it with the face, it's not like they're going to bite you.

[Kairi immediately turns an awful splotchy red in the face and avoids looking at Lea altogether.]

S-Sorry? I- what-?

[She drops her hands, looking wickedly amused over the whole situation.]

Alright, I'm sorry. Where'd you come out of?

[She'll walk over to ~~the remains of~~ the door to investigate. Must be a newbie, but still! Worth a shot.]

I... at Yen Sid's place, of course! But then when I was heading back inside, and this closet just shows up instead, I thought... I thought someone was playing a joke on me.

[She looks around again, the blush slowly fading as she refocuses on the fact that she is definitely somewhere that is not Yen Sid's tower.]

Where is this? And- you are Lea, right? Why are you...?

[She scuffs her shoe along the ground a little, moving around splinters and such.]

As much as you're a Kairi, sure. The idea of multiple universes ever come to you?

[It's an honest question. She's not being sarcastic.]

...And here I thought that out of all our friends you got the least "coming out of the closet" jokes.

[That probably does nothing to make him seem not responsible for this, huh?]

A Kairi?

[The question makes her pause and she slowly shakes her head. It's not something she's ever thought of, and it certainly didn't come to mind here.]

So it's like... mirrors?

[She sounds mortified, and that splotchy red blush mentioned above? Definitely there now. Also she might be raising her keyblade; she knows she can't beat him, but she can certainly try for that sort of prank!]

[Being named a Master made him no less of a troll, Kairi. Sorry.

He attempts to look innocent, which is more difficult than it probably should be, considering he's done nothing wrong. he just can't keep the amusement off his face.]

[She doesn't look amused, not at all.]

That wasn't funny, Riku! Did you just lock me in a closet so you could make that joke??

I didn't lock you anywhere. And come on, you'd have made the same joke if you suddenly saw me or Sora smashing our way out of a closet, admit it.

Dunno. And it's called the Dressing Room. Weird name, I know. But it's not the weirdest thing about this place, believe me.

[He's getting a somewhat disbelieving look.]

Dressing Room?

Some sort of crossroads between worlds, universes, time, etcetera. Just take everything you think isn't possible, and it's probably happened here.

[Kairi dismisses her keyblade and tucks some hair behind her ear, looking confused and a little frustrated.]

That doesn't make any sense.

Funhouse mirrors, maybe. Think about it. Who knows how many worlds are really out there? If things like time travel are real, alternate universes shouldn't even be a surprise. Timelines where I never lost my heart, maybe.

[Just to give an example. She hasn't even met another her that wasn't male.]

I... guess that makes sense.

[Except for the part where it doesn't really. At all. And then, a thing occurs to her!]

Wait, so if you're a girl, does that mean everyone in your, um, universe? Is switched around like that?

Basically. If you're asking if I know a prince or a princess, it's the first one.

[Imagine it, Kairi. Just imagine it.]
