Rollin' in the Deep

[Here is a Ri. He's currently sprawled on the floor of a rather large, but sparsely furnished room. He's happily fascinated by a ball of purple fur that's rolling about in front of him, and makes a squeaky purr whenever he pokes it. The purple and pink balls of fur stand out brightly amongst the duller brown balls of fur in the room, but the brown fur balls coo quite pleasantly.

Why don't you join your friendly neighborhood Tribble dealer come in and see what Ri is doing?]

[Here is a Riku. Normally, he wouldn't pay Ri much attention, unless he were in the process of destroying something or something similar, but he pauses by the door to see why the room is carpeted with colorful (noisy) fluff.]

[Ri rolls over onto his back, and just gives a dopey smile when the purple ball of fur butts against the side of his head]

Riku-pi! You should, you know, hang out with me.

Cute things! Come look.

[Ri doesn't even bother to get up off the floor, and just helps roll his purple fluff ball around some more]

[Ri gives Nami a friendly smile, and a pink ball of fur immediately rolls towards her and bumps into her feet]

Hello Nami.

What is that thing?

[She's wandering closer against her better judgment to investigate.]

I dunno. But they're cute! Look!

[Ri will hold up his Puff to show it off; other Puffs roll cutely towards Riku's feet the cooing from the Tribbles has a tranquilizing effect did you know?]

[That's definitely a thing. She sinks down to sit, picking one of them up curiously.]

They're not Dream Eaters...

[Riku gets a happy squeak from the Puff!]

... you mean like your really gay bat?

[The Puff is getting pettings because it's cute and puffy.]

Yeah, I know. But he's still a really gay bat.

[the Puff will squeak (cutely!) from the pettings; and the longer you hear this cooing from the Tribbles the more relaxed you'll get, which is why Ri is still sprawled on the floor even though he normally gets up out of paranoia]

I don't know. They're just really cute and friendly.

She giggles and plays with the Puff that approached her.]

Think they're pets?

I guess they must be. If they have faces, they're under all the fur.

[the rest of the Puffs will roll about (cutely!) while the Tribbles seem to be content in piling up and cooing]

...So tempted to adopt this little Puff then.]

[Ri certainly can't judging by how he's batting his purple Puff around]

If you want to keep some, I'm sure you can. I just found them all in this room.

[She looks like Christmas just came early 8D Then again, her "birthday" is next month, so maybe it's more like an early birthday present.

She giggles again and pets the little pink Puff.]

I'll have to think of a name now.

[Squeaking is enough to buy more pettings out of Riku, but with that effect in place she definitely won't be cutting it off any time soon.]
