[ The fortune to have come through a door on the other side and end up right in his home is almost uncanny. He closes the heavy door with a very faint 'chk' sound and looks around, drinking in the familiar Light and Darkness of his family members. A clock on the wall makes a soft sound in the dark silence as the hour switches to two in the morning. He's hyper-aware of the things in the room, especially the Christmas tree someone must have been putting up earlier in preparation for the holidays. It's a little crooked, but the lights are on it, and boxes of ornaments are scattered around the base, ready to be put on. Light breathing (and snoring) can be heard throughout the house as everyone dreams, and he hates the idea of waking everyone so late. As Sora's wide awake, he basks in the warm feeling of being home, the worry that he won't be welcome, and the peaceful feeling of the night, taking out a small glass reindeer ornament and hanging it at the top of the fluffy tree. Will he be able to stay quiet enough to decorate the tree until he can sleep, or will someone wake up? ]

[Daddy here woke up immediately once he felt an intrusion through the wards he put up. He's a little groggy at being woken up, but adrenaline quickly takes care of that as he slips out of bed and down the hallway. He's being stealthy, because he doesn't know if this is some enemy who's being really ballsy, or a toddler wandering for a drink of water.]

[ Sora will continue quietly hanging ornaments on the tree, smiling as he sets Rikka's penguins aside to put on with him later. To say he has missed his wee ones would be a massive understatement. ]

[Ri pauses in the doorway once he spots the intruder by the Christmas tree, quite shocked to see his familiar figure]

... Sora?

[mamasky]

[ He stops when he hears your voice, turning to look at you with familiar blue eyes, brown hair held back in a stumpy, inch long tail. His eyes positively light up brighter than any tree ever could. ]

[windup_daddy]

[his voice is hoarse and a little disbelieving, still not moving from his spot in the doorway]

Sora? Is it really you?

[mamasky]

{ His voice is soft and scratchy as well when he speaks. ]

Yeah. And... you? It's all real, right?

[windup_daddy]

I'm pretty sure that I'm real, unless I"m dreaming right now.

[mamasky]

[ He will just walk up to you and put his hands on your chest, and then rests his cheek over your heart. ]

[windup_daddy]

[Ri's arms come up to wrap around Sora tightly; he's not going to be letting go any time soon as he re-familiarizes himself with Sora's scent and presence again]

[twilit_kid]

[There's a new addition to the tree- or rather, beneath it, along the wall. Sprawled out on his back is a small Riku in footie pajamas, with a stuffed paopu clenched in one hand. He's using the tree skirt as a blanket.]

[ When he goes to tie a red velvet bow on a branch, his toe might nudge this new addition. It takes Sora a moment to process what he's seeing, and bends down to take a closer look! ]

[Sora may have run into him before, but for the most part this one was usually seen in the company of an older Riku with chinchilla ears, or an older Roxas. While he was perpetually young then, he actually looks a little older now.]

[ He has, he has... alas, the floor is no place for a child to sleep, and he'll be very gently peeling that tree skirt back and lifting you up in his arms. He's wondering if you live here now, or if you snuck in. Either way, he's going to find you a more comfortable place to sleep. ]

[twilit_kid]

[He's used to being carted around like this, and sighs in his sleep before wrapping his arms and legs around Sora. He's currently an escapee from the nursery, but doesn't always stay here. Sora seems pretty comfortable to him.]

[mamasky]

[ He's very gentle from years of taking care of little ones, and knows just how to deposit you on the sofa in the living room without startling you, and brushes some hair out of your eyes. He'll be back in a moment, navigating his way to the hall closet to (hopefully) find a blanket and pillow for you. ]

[twilit_kid]

[He'll be rolling over while Sora's gone, lingering on the edge of the couch with a leg starting to slide off.]

[ Big Riku back home slept the same way. He remembers always tugging him back to the safety of the middle of the bed. He will return with a warm, kitten-printed blanket and a throw pillow, tucking the pillow under your head for support and draping the blanket over you, not without making sure you've got your plushie. ]

[Namine's lucky that this was the night she chose to spend with the family instead of with Roxas then, because she would have hated to miss Mama's return.

But it won't be Sora that wakes her, but Yani. Sora will probably hear her cries that wake Namine as well. They don't last long though, as she's quick to wake up and check on her. Still getting hungry in the middle of the night apparently.]

[ Sora nearly drops an ornament when he hears a baby, because whut that is not his babies crying. He will make his way as quietly down the hall as he can. ]

Hey! C: Long time no speak!

He will find Namine cradling a baby roughly 7 months old.]

Shh, it's okay.

[Alright. Food. Or, bottled breast milk. She'll need to heat it up first though so she turns to make the trip to the kitchen and...]

..M-Mama?

[...Oh My God you're back :D]

I know! Sora's excited to see Namiii.

[ He is startled when he sees you with a baby! When did this happen?! He'll just stand sort of shocked in front of you, looking from you to the adorable baby. His expression is warm, just questioning. ]

Nami's excited to see Sora!

[...oh right.

S-smiles and walks over with Yani.]

Hey...um, this is Yani...your granddaughter.

He didn't even know she was pregnant haha

[ His eyes are filled with wonder when he takes a look at the tiny blonde baby. He wants to hold herrrrr. ]

She's so tiny! I didn't even know you were having a baby... we have so much to talk about! I'm too young to be a grandparent. I'm only thirty-four!

If you want to be completely technical, you wouldn't be a grandparent for a while yet. The me from your timeline is still just a kid.

[ Sora winces a little hearing about Ri... he can only imagine. He feels for you, but he almost can't help but laugh. He's missed his Ri-tard so much. ]

Thank goodness. I don't even have wrinkles! What's her name? Can I hold her? I bet Rikka and Kira love her. The Twins are probably still too small to be all that aware of her. I'm glad Kira has a little girl cousin since she's unapologetically surrounded by boys.
