[ Here's a Riku, about sixteen-seventeen years old, wearing casual clothes with a shockingly short haircut. Overall, doesn't stick out enough to approach. But she's asleep, dangling mid-air, slightly reclined, the Way to Dawn hanging from her grip. If anyone does approach her, they might get a surprise.]

[ooc: and then I canon updated. Riku's been missing from the DR since July 25th. There will probably be spoilers for KH3D as I'm pulling her post-game. (That's why she looks a little younger than she should - it won't last.)]

[yep. he picks it up and holds it over his face to blow a raspberry against its tummy.]

She piled in with us sometimes, but otherwise she was pretty happy to stay with Apricot and the puppies on Nami's bed, or in the living room when he was here.

[When she manages to sit up her arms are going around Serein's neck. Serein promptly crawls into Riku's lap despite her large size.]

I don't think Red would've been up for it. Maybe if it was just Serein, but not with the puppies also. Apricot likes having them all around, too.

[puppy is getting held up around its chest and danced back and forth a little. Axel has a really terrible habit of doing that with animals.]

I guess they got in some family bonding.

[Serein loev everyone, including Red and Axel, but especially Riku. Who, by the way, thinks Axel's ridiculous.]

Yeah. I wouldn't be surprised if Apricot somehow showed up at your place by himself to hang out with them more.

Apricot's always welcome in my house, whether or not it's over puppies.

[and then i imagined a universe where he was single but as well-adjusted as he is now, and still friends with Riku, which would leave him free to break into her apartment and go to sleep on her couch, like those stories you hear about neighborhood cats just inviting themselves into peoples' houses.]

Good to know. I wonder if he could figure out how to work the elevator.

[here he comes again, speak of the devil. he's flopping his largeness (though still not as large as the older Apricot) across Axel's stomach.]

[Let's be honest, Riku probably wouldn't care if he wanted to do that as it is, so long as it wasn't interrupting anything. Red on the other hand, might have a problem, but if he had a problem with Axel just hanging out and sleeping at Riku's place she'd get pissed off.]
