Canon update! -Possible 3D spoilers, just in case-

[Good afternoon, DR residents. Hope you weren't doing anything you didn't want anyone to walk in on, because there's a Riku wandering down this particular hallway, cautiously opening doors to peek at what's behind them. He just got here (or so he thinks) about an hour or two ago, and so far, he's been lucky enough to wander into a couple of world rooms rather than anyone's homes. Of course, he's avoiding the areas that actually look like houses, not just walking into those.

The world rooms are unnerving enough by themselves, but the people he's met are even stranger. He could swear he saw at least one other person who greatly resembled him and several others who looked like his friends. Maybe if he actually talked to someone, he'd get somewhere.

(OoC: Canon-updated Riku! He's got a much shorter haircut (think waist-length to almost-shoulder-length) but should otherwise feel/smell/seem the same as he was when he left about 3 weeks ago. He currently doesn't remember his time in the DR.)]

[So mean, Kira. He looks panicked, first identifying the source of the yelling and then backing away from it, hands up in a 'surrender' gesture.]

Whoa, hold on. I just got here, I didn't do anything.

[if Kira had a slipper, she'd be beating Riku with it, instead she's have to settle for trying to be menacing while looking up at him]

Shiru's here, too? And I'm not lying, I arrived less than two hours ago.

[Was it about anyone Riku slept with in the past ever? Shiru is in custody of all of Riku's DR memories at the moment, and has been since Riku left to get canon-updated. He probably whined to Kira about everything he didn't care to know about what Riku did as soon as he found her.]

Of course Shiru's here too! You're only living together, except that you're starving him, you pig. When I agreed to cook for you guys, I meant the both of you. Shiru says you've been eating all the good stuff and leaving him scraps.

[Kira doesn't care about Riku's sex life, even if Shiru whined about it, she's concerned with Riku being a pig and eating all the homemade cakes and pies she makes for Riku and Shiru to share]

[Okay, that just means Shiru is a giant liar. Which isn't surprising.]

He's probably lying. Do you know where he is right now?

[But Kira is his friend. But he totally would do that.]

[He doesn't know where that is. But he can locate where Shiru is, and if the mentioned cheesecake is at the apartment, he probably is too.]

If it makes you feel any better, that's something I won't eat.

Hmph. Everyone loves my cheesecakes.

And what did you do to your hair?

I needed a change. It was getting in the way.

[That, and Leon was starting to refer to him as 'Miss Riku' whenever they saw one another.]

I'm not saying your cooking is bad...I'm not a big fan of cake, that's all.

At least you and Shiru will be easier to tell apart, besides the fact that you're going to be fat from eating all the food I made.

And cheesecake is different from regular cake. I made it especially for Shiru since he said you starved him.

I told you, I haven't been eating all your food.

[He sighs, pocketing his hands.]

Can you at least show me where I supposedly live?

... did you get hit on the head? Why is it that everyone I meet lately has amnesia? You all need to start wearing protective headgear.

[lightyin]

Maybe I did. I don't know. But I'm not wearing a helmet, I'll look silly.

[daddyhasagun]

But then you wouldn't have amnesia.

[Kira will lead the way back to Riku and Shiru's place then, her heels tapping against the floor]

[lightyin]

No, I'd still have amnesia and I'd still feel silly.

[He stops once they reach the apartment, trying to decide whether or not it can be trusted.]

You might not! And maybe you could decorate the helmet to look cool or something.

[it's an apartment, Kira will be knocking on the door]

SHIRU IT'S ME.

[she totes visits often, but knows better than to barge into a place where boys live]

[There's the sound of faint footsteps from inside, then some shuffling from just behind the door before it's opened and Shiru appears, holding a cat under one arm, wearing shorts and a t-shirt.]

[And then he spots Riku, looking suddenly equally shocked and irritated...for a few seconds anyway.]

Come inside. I don't want Taso in the halls and I can't hold him.

[daddyhasagun]

[Kira will waltz right in, stopping near Shiru to give the kitty some pettings]

Look who I found wandering around! I told Riku that I'm angry that he starved you.

[He shuts the door on the way in, glancing around the living room.]

[As soon as the door is shut, the kitty is set back down, pausing to meow unhappily at the three of them before wandering into the kitchen.]

Good thing you found him first. You're nicer than I am. He's been gone for a while, though.

... are you two fighting again?

No. I'm sitting down.

[He does so on one end of a couch, holding one hand to his forehead in an attempt to ease the sudden, sharp pain there. Shiru huffs, looking worried, but stays where he is.]

So what's going on here then? And Riku, you should really let me do something with your hair.

[lightyin]

I don't know. I...I think I left. I went back home for a while.

[He frowns, rubbing at his forehead.]

...What do you want to do to it?

[Sure, it's uneven in the back, but that's not something he was too concerned about when he cut it.]

[daddyhasagun]

Even it out. You look like you cut it blindfolded or something.

[lightyin]

I can't see the back of my head. It's harder to cut. I guess you can fix it if it bothers you.

[Don't criticize his amateur hair-cutting. Shiru's disappeared into the kitchen to feed the cat, since he's not really part of the conversation anymore.]

[daddyhasagun]

It doesn't bother you? You're the one with badly cut hair.

[Kira's eyes flicker over to see what Shiru is doing, and if he looks like he needs more food]

[Shrug.]

Like I said, can't see the back of my head. And I've been too busy to worry about it lately.

[Shi's got the cheesecake, at least. And the fridge, but he might not care about that.[

Hmph. You boys are all the same. If you give me a comb and a pair of scissors, I can tidy things up.

[Kira probably stuffed the fridge full of stuff in tupperware]

[Does that mean it's insulting when Shiru wanders in with a PB&J sandwich and a soda? Riku squints at her from his seat--the headache is still there--and contemplates that suggestion.]

Promise you won't stab me in the head for revenge or anything?

[He's mostly joking. Let's see if she catches it.]

[doesn't Riku know not to get a girl angry if she's going to be holding sharp implements near his head? and sandwiches are fine... for now]

I wouldn't do that. Blood is so hard to get out of clothes.

[lightyin]

[He knows not to make anyone angry if they're holding sharp implements near his head.]

...Right. Hold on a minute.

[He gets up, while Shiru settles on the opposite side of the couch, using one foot to hold Taso away from him and his sandwich.]

[Kira will be helpful by scooping Taso up and giving generous pettings]

[She'll have to hold on a second unless she's fluent in Mouthful of Food. Meanwhile, Taso likes the attention and bumps his head against her hand, purring.]

It's great. Cats aren't supposed to eat it, right?

I guess that's okay. But it definitely shouldn't be part of his diet. The sugar can make cats sick.

[Hi guys, Riku's back to interrupt join your conversation, holding a pair of scissors and a comb in one hand.]

[Apricot is the best fatbun ever! Kira will smile and take the scissors and comb from Riku, checking the sharpness of the blades]

I heard that some cats can be picky about what they eat. I wouldn't know personally, though, since we're not allowed to have pets in our house. And Riku, I'll need a towel to put over your shoulders, too. There'll be a bit of a mess.

[Riku sighs, getting up to go get said towel. Shiru, meanwhile, contemplates the cat information while chewing another bite of sandwich. Which he doesn't finish before glancing over at Kira to ask 'allergies?'. Or rather, 'awwergees?'.]

[Kira makes a little face at the question]

... four toddlers. No animals are allowed at all.

[darkyang]

[He makes a face at that answer. He and small children don't go well together.]

How do you deal with that many kid--get your feet off me.

[For Riku has just returned, a towel draped over his neck, to flop on the couch and prop his feet up in Shiru's lap.]

[Kira giggles at the antics, and will give the kitty one last pat before moving to settle Riku properly, making sure the towel lays right]

Well, I'm used to it. I grew up with all my siblings and cousins, after all. It's kind of funner now though, since my siblings are all so tiny and cute and listen to me when I tell them things. Not like with my properly-aged siblings. The Twins just cause chaos and run away, and Rikka says stuff I don't understand and skulks off, too.

[The antics will continue, with Shiru pushing Riku's feet off his lap and Riku putting them right back...for a minute anyway, before Taso settles in Shiru's lap and hisses when Riku tries to put his feet there again.]

...How many siblings do you have?

Well, there's Buggie... Sorabug, he's the oldest of us all. Then my big brother Rikka, and the Twins. Then there's little Namine, then the older Nami who just had a baby, and the other Nami who I don't see much. Of course, here, there's also baby-Rikka and the baby-me. And then I babysit my cousins.
