There is a kid here.

A young Kairi, it seems... who is muttering things that she apparently really shouldn't be. She's opening and closing doors and closets, looking through everything she can find.

Because this Kairi? Is currently not quite one. In fact, the mind behind that cute little face is currently an Axel's, who's wildly hoping that coats come in 'small'. He'll cope, sure, but right now? With his borrowed head spinning with strange senses and too-long-unknown emotion?
He could use at least one familiar thing in his life.]

What's not to like? [There's a big grin at that.]

I dunno! I never had blue hair.

Maybe you should try it sometime.

I'd look like miss Aqua.

[She beams, because that's okay with her!]

You've lost me. Who's she?

Miss Aqua's really cool! She's got a Keyblade and blue hair and she's really nice. I like her a lot.

[Beaming!]

Keyblade, huh? [A bit of a smile. Damn things seem more common than he'd ever have imagined.] Yeah, she sounds cool.

She's really cool! She saved me one time when I was really little.

[She leans back, tilting her head.]

So what're we gonna do?

What do you mean, 'what are we gonna do'? I can't exactly go handing this thing back to you...

Yeah! That's what I mean! What're we gonna do about our bodies? I mean... I know it's a spell and everything, an' we don't even know where your body's at, so what're we gonna do?

Gotta say, kid [and laughing as he hears himself say that], wouldn't know where to start. I'm hoping I'm just chilling out somewhere. But I'd say we can at least take a look around for a bit.

[She stands up fully, then, and holds out her hand.]

Maybe we'll find who this body belongs to, too.

[With a 'heh', he takes it. Aw, isn't that cute, an Aqua and a Kairi, kind of...]

Yeah. Though if I know guys that look like her, she'll probably be knee deep in whatever she's cooking up even if she's five years old at the moment.

[She looks... a little sad.]

You know the bad ones too, huh?

Bad ones? Huh.

[... oh. He actually stops for a moment.]

Dunno about 'bad ones'. Haven't been here long enough. I just know that my Xemnas always has something going on.

[... which includes doing a number on Axel's own memory, so.]

I dunno any Xemnas very well, but I know he's a bad guy. Most of the time. I know Xehanort.

[Headscratch. Getting to the bottom of what this kid knows.]

And what you know is that...?

[Making 'come on, come on' motions.]

[She looks surprised.]

Don't you know about him, Axel?

[A bit of a 'no duh' look there.]

Course I do. I just want to make sure we both know the same things.

Well... I know... he was my friend. When I was little. I used to go to the castle all the time and see him, and Braig, and Dilan and everybody. But when I got here there were badguys, and Ienzo told me what happened. So did another Axel.

[She smiles at him.]

I'm not dumb, and I'm not too little to know. I know about Nobodies and Heartless and what everybody did. But it makes me sad.

[There's a tug at - his heart, her heart, he doesn't know what exactly applies in this situation, but it's a heart being touched - unconsciously, he puts a hand over it. Looking a bit awkward-]

... Yeah. Okay. You get it, and I've got it.

[Not like he hasn't done his fair share of things he's not currently proud of, now pride's even an option.]

[She considers it for a minute, then ruffles Axel's (her) hair, giggling. She's used to people doing that, and he needs one.]

But I know they're not all bad guys, too.

Well, that's something, I-

[Wha-? He waves hands around, making a face-]

Hey! Get off! Just because you're the big one here...

[She giggles even more, quickly moving out of his reach.]

You better get used to it!
