[~~Yo DR, we heard you like mythology so we put some myths in your~~- no, we aren't doing that meme.

However the DR is putting a little ancient Greek mythology in to the resident's lives. A little thematic decor here, couple of animal bits there, an accidental petrified person or two... That's all it needs right?

Today residents may find themselves waking up as various critters from Greek mythology. Those who don't, well, they may find their wardrobe helpfully replaced to better fit in with the new architecture.]

[Speaking of petrification, the sound of a pit of snakes hissing was the last thing Riku expected to wake up to. In her own bed, anyway. Much less when the sound's coming from her own head. Her hair isn't all snakes. It's more like they're scattered in an even pattern throughout her hair. Thin, silver snakes. Good thing she remembers the other key trait of gorgons, and has tied on her trusty blindfold to navigate to the kitchen.]

[Little girls run fast. Little girls with four horse legs run even faster.]

[Cid managed to get the hang of walking on a set of goat hooves pretty quickly but he's not about to do anything major like running on tricky surfaces or some of his more complicated dragoon tricks... yet, at least.]

[If he breaks any bones Kairi will be sad. She slows to a stop, but it's hard to stay in place even then, and she's still moving around at a (much) slower pace.]

What're you, Cid?

[He'll be fiiiine, luckily goats are hardy gravity defying arseholes.]

If I had ta guess I'd say some kind of goat.

[Not that he doesn't know what a satyr is, he's just following the centaur=pony theme.]

[She has no idea why they have random animal parts, but she's not complaining!]

How come you only got two legs an' I got four?

[ Cid will tolerate infinite questions from kids forever provided 1. she doesn't ask him about sex and 2. he's not suffering nicotine withdrawal.]

There's no real reason for it, 'cept maybe some dumbass symbolism. Satyr's are s'posed to be people with goat legs, centaurs are s'posed to people people with three quarters of a horse instead of a lower half.

[Anyone coming to check out the ruckus will discover a Sora trying to manage suddenly having the lower half of his body turning into a goat. He's managed to overturn half the things in the apartment he's staying in on his way out the door, and is stumbling into just about everything else in his way, people included.]

[Even'll just watch this from the door, mostly to mentally laugh a Sora but also because he's not exactly equipped to lend a hand considering the lack of them.

Then again being a fox of monstrous proportions right now, might actually make it a less helpful course of action than continuing walking.]

[Sora's trying to look out for furniture; giant foxes aren't something he's accustomed to being even remotely aware of. When he does though, he immediately trips over a chair in an attempt to jump away. What starts out as a yell of surprise quickly turns into a loud baaaa. He looks mortified.]

[And now he's actually laughing instead of just doing it mentally. ~~Which probably sound more than little odd.~~

Clearly being super empathetic since he's fortunate enough to be completely comfortable with four legs.]

[Four legs, Sora could probably handle. It's the two new ones he's having trouble with. For one, the knees don't work the way he's used to.]

Are.. Are you laughing at me!?

[He nods since he's not 100% sure if he can talk right now and doesn't especially feel like trying yet.]

It's not funny!

[He has yet to figure out that there's a tail flicking about in the back of his pants, or even that he's got nubby horns and long, pointed ears. He's had quite enough trouble getting simply walking down.]

[He tilts his head as if he's thinking and then shakes his head because: yes, yes it is funny.]

Just.. Just leave me alone!

[He is too stressed to try dealing with this right now. If he can, Sora's going to stumble his way past the fox of disturbing size.]

[He won't get in the way but he's certainly not going to listen to the instruction to leave either.

He drops his front half to the ground, leaving his rear in the air like a playful dog. Mostly to see if there's any recognition of canine body language that may indicate he could get some scritches out of this or something.]

[Vexen would say she's only really out and about because suddenly having a horse lower half wasn't exactly conductive to working in a lab but her skill at moving around with it on tile probably has more to do with it. Though some of that is because she's trying not to trip on some fabric tangled around one of her back legs.

So goes her epic quest to find someone to untangle it or cut it off for her ~~and possibly get some jam doughnuts.~~]

[While it's been a while since he was put on all fours, it's not long enough for him to find being on four legs particularly odd or hard to adapt to. Being in the form of an actual fox is mostly familiar to him, but being closer to the size of a pony while being in an animal form is a little bizarre.

Not that this in anyway will stop him from trying to take some advantage of it.

First things first though, he's set on figuring out if he can open a fridge without help at this size rather than pestering anyone who comes to the kitchen to do it for him.]
