Not a good day

[Maybe it's the basket of spilled clean laundry in the hallway that will tip people off. Or maybe it's the massive burst of Darkness that's raging out of control from a nearby room. Anyone who investigates will find Ri convulsing on the floor, unable to reign in his Darkness because of the pain. It's sad, really, because this is such a cheerful looking room, all set up for a little boy who likes dinosaurs, or pirates, or maybe pirate dinosaurs.]

[Sora's feeling much better lately, able to walk much further without feeling dizzy or collapsing! So maybe that's why he decided to visit today. And it's... A good thing he did. Because this isn't right, and this is bad. So he'll quickly rush to find Ri, and have to shield himself because that's... This really isn't good at all. Shit--! What's he supposed to do!? He should probably get help or something... But where's someone who can help!?]

[some vague disconnected part of Ri recognizes Sora, but he's in no condition to stop his Darkness from lashing out on its own, sorry]

[Well, he'll just brace himself and dodge, wincing because ow still not fully recovered. He's going to try and reach Ri. Dark suit is on now, because it should lessen any damage significantly.]

[Sora just might get a chance to get closer because Ri stops convulsing and weakly rolls over, just to vomit up Darkness that splatters the floor]

[Oh, he'll take that chance, darting up to Ri and putting a hand on his back.]

So just stepping anywhere near that dark outpouring is setting Layla's empathic senses off something awful. Gah, this isn't nice - she nearly backs off, but no. She doesn't want to leave someone causing that alone... The darkness, she can handle, given her parentage. But the rest?

She swallows, peers around the doorway. That's, is that...? Hell.]

[Oh crap oh crap oh crap... nervously, she steps in, crouches down, wishing she knew any human-type first aid beyond 'stick a potion on it'... she'll essay to put a hand out? Oh hell does she want to move him, stop him, argh...]

[that's not going to help much and his Darkness lashes out unconsciously, trying to keep Layla away]

[She gives a yelp and jumps back, taking refuge within her own Darkness as she tries to get things straight. Poor guy...! Is it even worth her doing anything? Worth her being here?]

[it's not hard to tell something is off with all that Darkness out of control. that big, Kai is able to sense it pretty quickly even from a distance and follows it straight to him.]

[he sends a soothing tendril of Light towards him, just something small because he doesn't know how Ri's Darkness will react right now, and he'd rather not cause him more pain.]

[the Light helps, but there's also a panic reaction from his Darkness, which lashes out wildly]

[he tries to 'speak' through his Light, tries to push the fact that he just wants to help through it. he's inching into the room, cautious but not willing to leave Ri like this.]

[Riku doesn't hesitate to plow right through the Darkness to get to Ri, grabbing him up under the arms to try to haul him from the room. This isn't something he can fight easily, and he'll try to be as quick as he can.]

[Ri is still convulsing, totally insensible as he's dragged out of the room and his Darkness still raging out of control, even against Riku, who Ri normally wouldn't hurt]

[He's hoping it'll be easier to help Ri once he's away from the trigger, so as soon as he has Ri back out in the hall he'll stop, wincing and calling up his old armor for at least some protection. If he has to, he'll try to absorb some of the Darkness himself.]

Ri, snap out of it!

[Ri can't hear you, he's busy trying to retch up more Darkness, which makes the wild attacks lessen as his system is purged]

[He's feeling somewhat nauseous himself, but is concentrating on Ri so he doesn't have the chance to think about it. Ri's getting rolled onto his side right there in the hall so he's not puking Darkness all over himself, and honestly, Riku's glad to see so much of it go. He'll be trying to keep Ri's hair from falling into it, and keep Ri from touching it in general.]

[ O-oh gosh, panic mode on? He flaps and flails full-speed towards the Ri in question, skidding to a halt when he find him in this familiar little boy's room. ]

[it's not actually Sorabug's room, but a very very good copy in a different hallway; this is probably why Ri was thrown off-balance so easily... except that he can't tell you that because he's having convulsions]

[ Sora has only had to deal with these once before, and he starts to shake as well as he cushions Ri's head, sending very gentle currents of Light into the atmosphere to help the choking Darkness dissipate. ]

You'll be okay... you'll be okay, Ri...

[Ri's going to spasm some more before managing to roll over so he can vomit up more Darkness than you would think is possible]

[ The vomit-to-boy ratio is certainly strained, and he is just glad Ri is turned over so he doesn't choke on it. He pulls his hair out of the way and backs away a little to let him heave, keeping a hand on his back to try and ground him, rubbing softly. ]
