[Y'know those incubi that pop up from time to time? Well, this isn't one of them, but you wouldn't know that if you don't know him. Today, Riku looks something like this, only more human-colored, and with a tail instead of the wings, one that matches the horns. Thankfully no wings, so he can wear a normal shirt. It seems the DR's only out to annoy him, since no special abilities have come with the appearance change, except that he smells like whatever the person closest to him is attracted to. But he doesn't have any control over that.

He's currently sulking in the kitchen, leafing through a book he grabbed from the library. Beside him is a small stack of other, unread books as well as a glass of juice.]

[Smells like smoke and candy in here. Riku takes two feet in the door and then turns around to walk back out.

She has encountered incubi in the kitchen before.]

[So has he. But he's only in the kitchen because the library makes him feel claustrophobic and he was hungry. He looks up when she enters, frowning when she turns to leave.]

[She doesn't even know for sure if he is an incubus, but horns and demonic appearances automatically make her think of them. Except in Red's case. Then she just wonders what he got into. She stops in the doorway and whirls back around to point at him.]

If you do anything I'll break your face.

[lightyin]

Do what? I'm allowed to use the kitchen. What's up with you?

[He's not moving from his seat, but she gets a raised eyebrow for her threat.]

[She eyes him for a moment, then starts back into the kitchen, heading toward the fridge.]

Sorry. I don't have a lot of good experiences including people with horns.

Oh...it's not like I want them. I've been like this for a while, and I have no clue how permanent it is.

[He's going to go back to his book now.]

Any new powers?

[She'll be very surprised if he says no, and is only asking to confirm it for herself. Getting a soda has never been so tense.]

Not that I can tell. I had some people following me earlier, but I don't think that counts.

[He is a fail psuedo-incubi]

[It's not that she doubts him or thinks he's lying, really, she's just... what.]

And then this turned out to be a preview of Riku's halloween costume

Nothing so far. Besides, you said you'd break my face if I tried anything, so I haven't yet.

Good. The last time I had someone turn into one of these, I busted his nose.

[But this was after running from what turned into a monstrous creature that was potentially going to rape her and basically sending them through a wall looking for a way to fix them.

Head trauma! Who knew?]

Please don't break his face, he likes it.

[And this is why he tries not to get on her bad side. Though they're probably about equally matched in a fistfight.]

[They should test it some day! She cracks open a soda, and pulls out a container of salsa.]

Any chance you'll share whatever it is you're going to eat?

[He knows she has something, he just doesn't know what it is.]

How are you with spicy things?

[It's a very nice salsa. She's moving to get chips now.]

[lightyin]

I don't have a problem with them.

[dawnrise]

Good.

[In that case, she'll bring her soda and the large container of salsa over and set them on the table, then move to get the chips.]

[Time to confiscate the salsa. Or just pull it over to himself while she's gone. Don't you know it's a bad idea to pair soda and spicy stuff?]

[She'll bump the back of his head with the chip bag when she gets back. Relinquish the salsa.]

[lightyin]

[He'll laugh if the bag gets caught on one of his horns and rips. Also nooo his salsa--actually he'll push it back when she returns.]

[dawnrise]

[They do not! But speaking of horns, Riku's going to touch one, without even asking! Hopefully they're not an erogenous zone.]

[Fortunately they're not. He does feel the touch, though, and reaches up, thinking she might've put something on the end of one of them.]

Checking how sharp they are.

[She lets go and pops the bag open, setting it down on the table.]

[lightyin]

[He will help himself to a few chips as soon as the bag is open.]

Sharp enough. I've been lucky enough not to catch them on anything yet.

[He chose a zip-up shirt so he wouldn't have to deal with pulling anything over his head.]
