[Hello, Dressing Room. You're being watched. In the main area, at least. There's a Riku lurking in one corner, perched on top of an armchair with his feet resting on the armrests, quietly watching people go about their day. He's a newbie, but doesn't seem to be concerned that he's not where he was a few minutes ago.]

Fascinating place.

[To those who can tell, he might seem a bit...off. There's an inhuman quality about him, but not necessarily a malevolent one. Clearly that means he's safe to approach, if only to tell him off for acting like a creeper.]

[There's a Sora who has been working on a puzzle at a small table, but every so often glancing over to Riku. He can tell there's something about him, but he has no idea what.]

[He prefers it that way. Fewer questions.]

Things change a lot.

[He seems to be more interested in Riku than the puzzle now, giving Riku his full attention.]

[He leans forward on his chair-perch, resting his chin on one hand.]

It hasn't changed very much since I got here.

[Sora just shrugs. It could just be him, after all. He's still looking at Riku.]

Do I know you?

[tainted_piety]

[Don't you know it's rude to stare? Not that he minds, really. But his wings aren't even visible at the moment so he doesn't think he's that interesting.]

I doubt it. Do I look like someone you know?

[Sora would be staring at him then, too.]

I don't know. Maybe.

Maybe?

[Sora's kinda strange so far.]

I don't remember.

[He doesn't seem too worried about that, either.]

I have a friend who resembles you. Maybe have a friend who resembles me.

That would be nice.

[He finally looks away from Riku, to the puzzle piece in his hand. Sora looks bewildered as to how it got there, before he notices the table and the half-finished puzzle spread over it. Something in his mind visibly clicks, and he starts trying to find where the piece goes.]

[Riku glances at the puzzle piece, then to the partial puzzle on the table. He slides off the chair when Sora's attention turns back to the puzzle, moving around to the other side of the table. He doesn't attach anything to the puzzle yet, but pushes some similar disconnected pieces together.]

[Sora blinks at Riku wide-eyed for a moment, looking around the room before back to Riku again.]

Oh, did you just get back?

[tainted_piety]

[He looks perplexed.]

I never left...

[caged_memory]

I forgot you were there, then. Sorry.

[He does look sorry, too, in a detached sort of way.]

Were we doing the puzzle together?

[More or less! Sora takes Riku at face-value, automatically trusting him to tell the truth.]

What were we talking about?

[It's not entirely a lie, as Riku was going to help if Sora wanted it anyway.]

I was hoping you would tell me more about where I am.

Oh. I think it's a living room.

[Sorry Riku, were you expecting a more detailed explanation?]

Oh.

[He turns his attention to the puzzle, connecting a few of those pieces he pushed aside.]

Your name is Sora, is that right?

[caged_memory]

Yeah? I'm pretty sure that's what everyone calls me.

[There's no hope of finishing it anytime soon. Sora's been saddled with a 10,000 piece puzzle. He has no idea what the end picture is.]

[What possessed him to try to do a 10,000 piece puzzle in the first place?]
