You are likely to be eaten by a grue.
[Did this hallway just get dark or is it just you? Maybe it was just the transition from a bright sunny hallway to an enclosed, more indoors one? Maybe it's just the DR messing with you?
Perhaps it's time to be on the lookout for grues, heartless or any other monsters that might be lurking in the dark.]
[ooc: for the sadists looking to make their character's suffer a bit. Just let me know how far you want things to go so I can make accommodations.]

Hey! Who turned off the sun?

Xigbar however can see just fine, though of course he's not introducing himself right away, there's no game in that.
First he waits a bit to let the change in atmosphere set in. To let Sora feel the isolation and let his eyes adjust enough to catch movement in the darkness. After all, what's there to fear if he never sees it coming.]
I don't remember seeing you on the guest list for the dinner party.
[Xigbar still isnt' sharing his location and his voice likely doesn't really seem to be coming from any particular direction. There's almost an echo to the fake accusatory tone.]
no subject
Do you uh, mind turning the lights back on? I don't know how you did it, but it seems silly to try to have a party in the dark, don't you think?
no subject
That's funny. I can see juuuuust fine.
no subject
[He's going to start walking, one hand against the wall in what should be the right direction.]
no subject
[Since it's just as dark in that direction as it is in any other. Now improved with the whispers of dusks slithering and writhing across the floor at around ankle level.
Just perfect for tripping over.]
no subject
[He stumbles, but doesn't go down. The whispering is unfamiliar, as Sora's never had an encounter with a Dusk before. Heck, he's only ever heard of Heartless from other residents trying to warn him about them.]
no subject
The end of all this- what?
[One dusk will helpfully slither by just close enough to brush against the back of Sora's knees.]
no subject
All.. this! The darkness, it can't go on forever.
no subject
[Xigbar's smile is practically audible in his tone.
The dusks are keeping their distance now.]
no subject
[You know what, he's going to fish around in his pocket. Why didn't he think of this sooner? After a bit of fumbling, there's the jingle of keys. Shortly afterward, there's a small circle of light bursting from between Sora's fingers. It's coming from the tiny keychain light dangling beside some charms and his house key.]
Aha!
no subject
Well, there's not actually too many of the dusks, large number wouldn't suit the level of control Xigbar needed for them, but their circling, the way they move and the limited light might make it seem like there's far more of them than their actually is.
At the light, one of the dusks breaks rank try to knock it out of Sora's hand.
At the same time a purplish light appears further down the hall.]
Sure, whatever you say kiddo.

Even the dusks getting a bit quiet. Though every now and then they come close to the light to keep Sora on his toes they aren't reaching to touch him.
Xigbar won't be making any moves until Sora's within 20-25 feet of that light.]

As he gets closer the light seems to quiver a little, more as he gets closer. Until he reaches the twenty-five feet mark, at which point it goes perfectly still.
At the twenty foot mark Xigbar shoots for Sora's shoulder, the arrow coming straight from the middle of that purple light.
Of course it's nothing vital he's aimed for since he doesn't want this to be a quick and neat sort of thing, but that doesn't mean it won't hurt like hell.]

[It's only then that Xigbar decides to come out of his hidey hole. His voice only coming from him now, without a trace of echoing.
He approaches on foot and letting his approach be heard with quite deliberate footsteps.]
'sokay, it's just a flesh wound.
no subject
[He's scrambling back awkwardly, quickly discovering that trying to use his right arm at all hurts if it pulls those muscles. His first discovery of that has him making a choked sob in the back of his throat when he tries to get to his feet. He's forgotten about the Dusks entirely.]
no subject
That's the game.
[Arrow riffle in hand again, Xigbar aims another shot for Sora's hand. Sort of like a warning shot, but mostly just him wanting to make Sora bleed some more.]
If you can still move you might want to think about running.
no subject
Stop! I don't want to play your game!
no subject
[If he doesn't get free and get moving before Xigbar gets there, Xigbar will kick him in the ribs.]
no subject
no subject
[Though sorely tempted to kick him again, instead Xigbar grabs the front of Sora's shirt. Yanking him to his feet with one hand and pulling out the arrow pinning him to the wall with the other, only to throw him at the wall directly opposite.
This time Xigbar's approach is less leisurely walk and more a full on charge intended to follow up Sora's impact with the wall with a punch in the gut from his metal hand.]

[The next blow is aimed at Sora's back, intended to knock him to the ground and make it that much easier for Xigbar to kneel down and straddle his back.]
See sometime in the next hour or two you're probably gonna get eaten.
no subject
D-don't- nnn...
1/2
However it's not real conductive to what Xigbar wants to do, so he grabs Sora by his bird's nest hair and smacks his face against the floor twice to disorient him before rolling him over.]
Law of the jungle kiddo.
2/2
Then Xigbar leans down almost like he's intent on kissing Sora, only to instead force Sora's right eye open. Pulling at Sora's eyelids with his thumbs to hold the eye open as he licks the unprotected eyeball.]

no subject
He'd much rather remove the eye with his fingers.
Luckily for Sora, Xigbar hardly gets to start digging his thumbs into the socket before he's distracted. Just to be sure of what he's hearing he moves a hand away from Sora's eye to cover Sora's mouth and muffle the noise while he makes the decision.
Apparently whatever Xigbar heard sounded hella interesting or maybe threatening since he gets off Sora shortly after.]
You can just sit tight here, 'kay? Sounds like I've got another playdate.
Try not to bleed out 'fore I get back.
[Not that Xigbar really thinks Sora will manage to get anywhere, rather more likely just because he's an arsehole he takes the time to pin Sora's previously uninjured hand to the floor with another arrow from his rifle before he jumps through a portal.
Once Xigbar's gone the lights return to the hallway.]

Come out, come out wherever you are!
[ of course, if it's by someone, that is. if not, it's the dressing room once more — right? ]
no subject
There's a few seconds before there's any sign of him, and less than a second between the portal opening and a gravity enhanced punch aimed for her stomach.]
Surprise.
