[Namine can be found in one of the common rooms today, sitting on a couch and reading yet another book on pregnancy.

She turns the page, then pauses for a moment as she does some quick math in her head.]

....Only about, nine weeks left..

[Wow....She's a little...okay very nervous still...But at the same time, she's excited. She kind of wishes that her boyfriend would meet her family already. This would all be so much easier if they were all together in this ;;]

[ There is a family-type-boy sneaking in with a towel, drying his hair. He smiles softly when he sees Nami. He's missed her. She's starting to resemble a boa constrictor that ate a sheep now. ]

[She would pout at him if he actually said that to her. Before laughing because she really is starting to look that way, isn't she?

But since Rikka is being sneaky she doesn't notice him right away, instead chewing her lip a little as she worries about the situation.

Yeah, she's not getting any further with this book anymore. She may still look like she's reading it, but nothing's sinking in with her lack of attention right now.]

[ He's very sensitive to that, having been around his pregnant Mama. He approaches slowly, taking a seat next to Nami. ]

[She startles a little...then beams at him.]

Rikka! You're back!

[You are getting hugs now, little brother!

.....Maybe not so little anymore. What happened, you're taller all of a sudden!]

[ He chuckles softly and wraps her in his arms, which are now corded with a bit of muscle, his chest hard even though he's still pretty trim. And yes, he's about three glorious inches taller, finally allowing him to surpass Mama. ]

And you're... very pregnant! You look great.

[mendedcrayon]

[She laughs at that, going a little bit red.]

Y-yeah..Thanks.

Have you been eating right? I'm sure Kira's been making sure of that, if nothing else. For someone the size of a stick, she sure cooks a lot.

[ He wants to touch the bummmmp. ]

Of course. She fusses almost as much as Roxas does. Though it's surprisingly more difficult than I would have thought to eat healthy. The baby has it's father's appetite, I swear.

[She will never eat junk food again once this is over ;;]

[ He laughs and rubs the towel through his hair. ]

I don't even know who his father is. 'Roxas' isn't very descriptive here.

[She bites her lip at that, the worried look returning.]

..He's nervous about meeting everyone. I've talked to him about it, but...He seems to think that Dad will...You know..Point a shotgun at him or something.

[He already tried to convince her to marry Roxas before the baby was born :|]

[ Rikka nods, trying to work some water out of his ear with his towel. ]

I'd be worried about the same thing, to be honest. Dad actually asked me to come find out which Roxas it was from you. I really think that he just wants to talk to him and help him get started being a dad, since Dad's been looking after orphans since he was like, nineteen. I don't really care who he is as long as you're happy, but I think this is really important to Dad, and the longer you guys go without being entirely truthful to him, the less he trusts the guy.

[ Shrugs. ]

[mendedcrayon]

[She sighs, averting her gaze.]

I know...I want him to meet everyone, I really do. I just..I don't know how to convince him..

Maybe... convince him that showing his face to everyone will bring everyone closer and give the baby a more stable family structure. I dunno. It's really a decision only he can make.

[mendedcrayon]

I'll try...

[...Puts on a small smile.]

Don't be. I'm glad to see you, no matter what happens. I love how Dad gave me a sleuthing assignment after I'd been home for like, an hour.

[ Snorts. ]

[She laughs at that.]

Well I wouldn't want you to fail your first mission after getting back. But, could you give me a little more time to try to convince Roxas first before you tell Dad?

Pfft. Like I care. I don't think it's a big deal, really. Just as long as you're healthy. How much longer until you pop?

About nine weeks. That's if it decides to be on time.

...I'm a little nervous, to be honest. I don't know if I'm tough enough to handle it.

[The pain, she means. She's not a battle toughened warrior like many of the other parents around.]

Do you know if it's a boy or girl?

[ He laughs a bit at the strength comment. ]

I'm sure you can handle it when the time comes. I mean... Mama was a dude that turned into a girl that got knocked up, Dad said he cried like a baby and cussed like a sailor and broke his arm, so I guess it's pretty normal. I'm glad I'm not a girl.

Not yet! I wanted it to be a surprise.

[She has to laugh at that as well.]

[ He's looking at that bump as if he wants to touch it :x ]

[She breathes a laugh at that.]

[ He looks up, kind of wide-eyed, and smiles softly. ]

You sure? It doesn't hurt?

[mendedcrayon]

[She just smiles and nods.]

I'm sure you'll be more gentle than the baby is. It's fine.

[It's a bit of a kicker ^^;]

[ He will be reaching over and planting his hand gently, hesitantly on Nami's tummy then, his eyes flickering up to hers when he feels slight movement, before pressing more firmly. ]

It's gotta be weird... people touching you all the time.

I don't mind that much.

[The baby might actually move a little more after sensing Rikka's Darkness. It seems to like it.

Namine had to be get used the the extra Darkness in her body, but she's mostly adjusted.]

So, how have you been? We were worried.

[maverickblades]

[ Rikka feels that immediately, and the imprint of his Darkness definitely connects with the child. He hums softly, just closing his eyes for a moment. ]

I'm starting to accept that life will never be normal, with my lineage.

[mendedcrayon]

[..She tilts her head a little.]

..Are you okay?

[maverickblades]

Of course. I feel better than when I left here,

That's good..

[....Sudden Baby kick!]

Oof!

[Take that! Stop worrying so much, Momma. If something's bothering him, he'll tell you when he's ready :|]

[ OMG baby kicks! Giving Nami a surprised look now! ]

[She chuckles a little.]

Y-yeah. It's just got quite the kick.
