[... did she take a wrong turn in that darkness corridor somewhere.

Though really, that wouldn't make sense because Roxas and Axel should still have been there too. She can't help but be uneasy; did the Organization find out some new way to split them up to try and capture them? She wouldn't put it past them - lately it felt like they'd been trying anything and everything to either regain control of either her or Roxas, or force them to use their Keyblades. With Kingdom Hearts so close to being done and Sora almost awake...

But she couldn't worry about that now.

Well, recon was good, no matter what the situation, so that's what she'll be doing. So you might spot an older looking Xion with longer hair darting around, trying to keep out of sight while she figures out what's going on.]

[Well, if Xion looks carefully, she might find a hooded figure watching her closely. At first he says nothing, just observing her as she darts around.

After a few moments, though, he decides to follow along. Time to see what she's up to...]

[Well, Xion hasn't lived nearly two years with the Organization constantly on her and Roxas' and Axel's tails for nothing. It doesn't take her long to realize someone's following. She tries to keep her movements casual, so to speak, occasionally glancing to see if she could catch a better glimpse of her pursuer.

When she manages to get a clear view of that black coat, though, that's when she decides it was time to get out of here.

You might notice her pace picking up a bit.]

[Then he'll pick up the pace as well. Still, this whole pursuit prooobably isn't giving a good impression. Eventually, he'll bite the bullet and speak up.

His voice should sound fairly familiar.]

Xion.

[That voice makes her, well, not quite freeze, but slow down to a halt, turning to face the newcomer. She knew that voice, though... there was something slightly different about it, something she couldn't put her finger on.]

Riku...?

[If it was him, he already know why she'd run from him, and wouldn't have minded but...]

You're here too?

Not exactly.

[Still, he'll pull back his hood. Sure enough, he looks pretty much like Riku did at age sixteen, just no blindfold.

He folds his arms over his chest and lets out a sigh.]

Still, you're not too far off, I guess.

[But if he wasn't...

... wait...

It'd been so long ago since the topic had been brought up, but she was sure they'd mentioned how, well... she wasn't alone, to put it one way, though they were different.]

Are you... [Well, she couldn't just say it out loud like that... she shakes her head and looks down] Sorry.

Nah, don't be.

[He shakes his head, shrugging lightly. Really, it's not something he tries to hide at this point. Why pretend to be something he's not?]

Not like it's a big deal. I might be a replica, but why should it matter?

[See? He's totally chill about it. Mostly.]

[... She's... slightly surprised, though it doesn't take her too long to nod. Really, that's the thing that so many of her friends have been trying to get her to recognize. She's doing a lot better... most of the time.]

Right.

[Still... there's one thing...]

I... don't think we've ever met...

[A.k.a. how do you know her name...?]

See, that's the funny thing about this place. It's got this nasty habit of dragging people out of their universes.

[He smirks. It's a little bit odd at first, but, hey, he's flexible enough to adapt. Not like this world is that weird when he's seen places like Wonderland, after all.]

I know you, but... a different you. Sounds weird, but it's true.

[The idea itself of different universes isn't... too hard to swallow, if a little awkward. There were different worlds, after all...]

A different me, huh...?

[That's... a little bit harder to decide how to feel about.]

What kind of place is this anyway?

[Besides being a universal nexus type place, apparently]

Most people call it a crossroads.

[But... that still doesn't explain a lot. Hrm.]

Pulls people in from different universes, has no rhyme or reason, and death doesn't last.

[I see your older Xion, and match it with one older Namine! Roughly around the same age as Xion too. And she looks a little amused at her sneaking.]

There's little need for that in this place, Xion.

[Xion comes to a halt as soon as she hears the familiar voice, eyes wide with surprise. The fact that they're roughly the same age means she... kind of assumes it's the Namine she knows.]

Namine!

[You are... very calm for being in somewhere completely different than Disney Castle. Unless something happened to Disney Castle. She honestly hoped not.]

What's going on?

[She suspected she would.

And really, isn't Namine always calm?]

You've been dragged into a crossroads of worlds.

A crossroads...

[Not too far-fetched, considering the worlds they live in. She'd heard about how Traverse Town had sort of been like that, though she'd never gotten to see the place herself.

Still there was a bigger problem.]

How did we get here? Did the Organization...

[Did they do this? What about the others...? What about Sora?]

They have nothing to do with it. This place has a mind of its own. It brought you here.

Huh...

[Well, that was one less thing to worry about for now, at least.]

What about the others? Are they here too?

..That depends. Some version of them may be here, but likely not the ones you know.

[That was rather confusing, wasn't it? Even by Namine's standards.]

[There's a Roxas nearby, watching her with an unreadable expression. He's not old enough to be the one she knows.]

[Well. That was an obvious oversight, if she was spotted that easily. Ergh. Though she pauses once she realizes she recognizes the face. And start to call out to him before she realized something kind of important]

Rox...as...?

[... you... are looking a bit younger than when she saw you last. What on...]

[He nods slightly, but doesn't move from where he is.]

Yeah. One of them.

[That... elicits a frown.]

One of them...? Roxas, what's going on? What happened...?

This place we're in. It's some sort of crossroads, with doubles of people wandering around. It's why I look different from the Roxas you know.

[In more than just age, presumably. Roxas generally doesn't have a slight feminine edge to his face in most worlds.]

[Does she look...older somehow?

Axel's the same as he's always been, hidden away with his hood pulled up as he watches her from a safe distance. He's met her before in other places, but she still feels out of place in his mind.

After a moment he steps away from the wall he's leaning against to watch her more closely. She seems a little bothered.]

What's got you all flustered, kid?

[Hood up or not, she'd recognize that voice anywhere.]

Axel!

[bff you're heeeere she is so relieved to find you ;~; Though she frowns a little at his words. Joking around now, really?]

Axel, come on not now. [And why in the worlds do you have your hood up? Nevermind. She looks left and right] Where's Roxas?

['sup, biffles. He just wants to keep his hood up! He's tired like always.]

Hm? [He glances left and right, hands on his hips, and then back to her.] Probably around here somewhere. Why?
