[There's a new Namine and she's just walked out of a building to find herself on an unfamiliar street.]

Hmm, did I take a wrong turn?

[She turns around to go back inside the building, but it's not the same place she left.]

How...many wrong turns could I have made?

[As if that's not strange enough, she's looking around to see color. She looks back at herself, a colorless Namine.]

Or did I get spiked with LSD....?

[ooc: new here, hallo! I actually used to lurk and post here a few years ago. I just realized there has been some sort of a setting change, so I'm going to try to get up to speed and accommodate my character.]

[She's going to step back a few feet, stumbling on the front steps of the building she exited out of, grasping the rail to steady herself.]

[She notices that this fellow soul is also lacking color, well, apart from the eyes, which in her world is a sign of disease.]

Your eyes...are they okay? Did something happen?

What, never seen a dragon before?

[He ignores the comment about his eyes, for now.]

So that's what you are.

[She shakes her head.]

No, can't say I have.

[He grins at his words, although the gesture probably doesn't look at all friendly, since mostly it just manages to point far too many pointy teeth on display.]

[er. nervous grin.]

Who exactly are you...besides a dragon? And what is this place?

How about you call me Xigbar? As for here, it's the Dressing Room.

[This look nothing like the Xigbar she knows.]

[He laughs at that, deep and rumbling and low as befits a creature of his size.]

As if I'd bother being anything other than me.

[Well, at least he seems friendly ~~and not like he's going to crush her~~]

What do you mean "Dressing Room"? What kind of place is this?

Oh, everything gets here, from quite everywhere all at once. You, me, the whole lot of us.

[She sighed, knowing he had a fair point. She had been acting as if she alone was unfairly thrown into this world. As if no one else had.]

You're right. I'm just really lost right now.

[He hasn't really got the right kind of body for it, but Xigbar makes a gesture that's probably about the equivalent, should she manage to read it as such.]

You won't always be lost. It gets better eventually.

[Manages a small smile.]

Just watch out for the monsters.

Are you talking about the kind that actually look like monsters?

I don't know ... sinister. Some of them are actually terrifying, but they usually just have this look in their face, like there's something off ... in a bad way.
