[Halloween. A day based on the old tradition known as all hallows eve. The one night of the year where spirits of the dead can return to the world. These days, it's a day where people dress up, have fun, eat candy and scare the living daylights out of one another.
Even more so in the Dressing Room, with all it's magic and twisted sense of humor.

Though none of that is bothering Ven. Even with the costume he's been given. He's perfectly content to sit out in the park, surrounded by Halloween decorations, and eat candy. The derp couldn't be happier.]

[Sighs but shakes her head. You derp.]

[Laughs a bit before holding out his hand. Friends can hold hands, right?]

[She hesitates a little, since her last hand hold was Vanitas. That did not end well.

But she's taking his hand.]

[His smile fades a little at the hesitation, but he understands. And it's still sort of there when she takes his hand.

He gives it a gentle little squeeze and starts walking.]

So where did you get them?

Candy shop in town.

[Leads the way?]

And you've been there all day?

[... it's hard to ignore how he's not that cheerful, though. She feels bad, but...]

Uh, mostly? I also went around and had a look at all the decorations.

[Well, how can he be completely cheerful knowing how badly he screwed up? He's going to work hard to try to get her back, but still.]

[And then suddenly.]

Ven? If... you have something weighing on your mind, you can tell me.

[...Sighs and looks at her.]

...I...I'm sorry, about what happened. About what Vanitas did, and what I did. I really am.

..I know you said that you want to start over and be friends again..But, I should tell you first...

[And there's one of those derpy smiles again.]

I don't know if you'll ever really forgive me, but I'm gonna work hard to try and make myself worthy of being with you again, cause I still love you. Until I do though, I guess I'll just be grateful that you're okay with having me around.

[...Hm. It kind of feels good to get that off his chest.]

[She pauses at that, blinking, before glancing down and staring at the floor. After a while she nods, smiling a little.]

Okay. I'm... I'm glad you think of it that way.

[He smiles brightly at her and gives her hand another little squeeze.]

Alright. Well, should we go get that candy now?

[Nods and smiles wider, since there's no more tension, following after him happily.]

[TO THE CANDY SHOP!]

[Hoo boy. Better make sure he's not going to have a sugar rush. Follows, giggling a little.]

[And what's wrong with sugar rush, huh?

Candy shop get. SUGAR!]

[SUGAR CRASH LATER. The moogle follows suit, and Namine facepalms with a mechanical hand. Oh well.

She.

Well, she did miss being with him. Just clutches her hat and follows them.]

[...It's worth it. because sugar.

Moogle can be his sugar buddy. :D

Ven will offer her various candies and chocolates. Dark chocolate, right?]

She catches the moogle and makes sure it only takes a few things.]

Yeah, isn't it great?

Yeah. It's a little more bitter than normal chocolate. Not as sweet. It's not bad.
