[Why, exactly, is there a sandstorm brewing down this alleyway? ...Must be Tuesday. In any case, two figures well-covered in desert robes and wrappings are making their way slowly out of it, fighting against the wind, the smaller one held closely to the larger's side.

As from their perspective the barrage lets up, dumping a puddle of sand around the street, the larger one looks up and drops his hood. Piercing inhuman yellow eyes, harsh narrow features-
Oh. Hello, Kurt.

He looks down towards his smaller companion - his daughter, in fact, though she seems to have grown at least a little bit since she was last seen - and smiles...]

... well. Looks like we're back.

((Been a while, so trying to kick some life into these two with a bit of an update.))

Back there. I couldn't speak for here - I've noticed a lot of people seem to be blind to what they want to be, though.

As if you don't get people like that anywhere. Back home you get people who still don't think we're sentient.

I wish I was surprised. [He shakes his head, a little sadly.] I don't know if anyone ever realised my kind could think and feel at home. Those of us who couldn't disguise ourselves as human, at least. So - I can understand.

You'd think us speaking would be an indicator of that kind of thing.

You'd think. Especially as you seem to be more adept at holding a conversation than some I've met.

[A chuckle.] Well, I hadn't seen another dragon here as far as I could remember, so that speaks for itself.

Can you imagine people keep thinking I'm going to eat them?
