[Why, exactly, is there a sandstorm brewing down this alleyway? ...Must be Tuesday. In any case, two figures well-covered in desert robes and wrappings are making their way slowly out of it, fighting against the wind, the smaller one held closely to the larger's side.

As from their perspective the barrage lets up, dumping a puddle of sand around the street, the larger one looks up and drops his hood. Piercing inhuman yellow eyes, harsh narrow features-
Oh. Hello, Kurt.

He looks down towards his smaller companion - his daughter, in fact, though she seems to have grown at least a little bit since she was last seen - and smiles...]

... well. Looks like we're back.

((Been a while, so trying to kick some life into these two with a bit of an update.))

Well, it's a good point. [Another shrug.]

I suppose I've just grown used to the options that life on the smaller scale provides me. Even with its ... drawbacks.

If you're looking for more... size appropriate places, I could probably find something.

Hm, you could? When I lived here before, I lived in the desert; however, that's less convenient than it was when it was back in the days of the endless castle, and I'm considering a change of location. But other than that, do you have anything in mind?

[He half-spreads his wings and the mental discrepancy between the space there is and the space he's occupying grows a little worse.]

[He would blink, but that not being an option, another headtwitch.]

If you can see a location on the edge of the city, perhaps, that would certainly be a good possibility. I'll have to discuss matters with Layla, but I'm sure she'll be happy with the idea.

You'll probably see more. Most - rather smaller.

Like the little black things with your eyes?

Shadows. Well noticed. They tend to be more - animalistic, but they're my kind.

They're a little annoying sometimes. The flying ones are fun, though.

Why aren't I surprised you'd - ah, enjoy their company?

[His only answer is only a grin. Dogfights are the best.]

[And that gets a chuckle back.]

Anyway, I won't keep the two of you, if there's somewhere else you want to be

[He nods.] We do rather have things that need sorting out.

[He nods, and folds his wings back down, so that Kurt can pass by.]

[He drops back into human form, looks at a hand then back up at the dragon.]

Well, then. It's been a pleasure meeting you.
