Brb attempting to reclaim muse

[This Namine doesn't usually seem to get involved in anything dangerous or unusual. She's not like the others here who can easily handle some of those situations. However, some might find the sight of her crouching in front of a large growling tiger unusual and dangerous. At least until she speaks.]

Stop being such a big baby. The sooner you let me take a look at it the sooner I can fix it.

[The tiger just growls again in response, looking thoroughly miserable/annoyed.]

What's wrong with him?

I think there's something stuck in his teeth, but he wont let me have a look.

[Rajah is keeping his mouth firmly shut, thankyou.]

Maybe we can sedate him so he's asleep.

[Yeah, he's voicing that thought aloud. B| He's going to do it, too, if big tiger doesn't cooperate.]

[Rajah growls threateningly at that. He disapproves of this idea. B|

Namine just looks worried. She'd prefer it didn't come to that. :c]

Come on, big guy, open up. Or else we'll be forced to do it.

[He growls more, baring his teeth a little. Clearly it's hurting him, or he wouldn't be so defensive about letting them near him.]

... what do we do? He's stubborn.

[Frowns.]

Rajah, please? We'll have to sedate you if you don't let us help.

[He just whines and keeps his mouth shut. He doesn't want to. :c]

[Sighs and gets up.]

I think I still have some. Hang on, let me check.

[Rajah takes a little step back at that. Nooooooo ;;

Namine stands up as well, stepping forward to place a hand on Rajah's shoulder. It'll be okay, buddy :c]

[He comes back with it and fiddles with it, getting ready to sedate the big guy.]

[He growls again and Namine moves to put her arm around his shoulders. She wouldn't have a hope of trying to restrain him, but Rajah wont do anything that would risk hurting her while she's this close. So Roxas should be able to get close enough at least.]

[He closes in and after feeling around the fur, sticks the needle in.]

[He whines again, and since mun guesses that it's pretty fast acting, he'll be out in a few moments.]

Okay, let's take a look.

[She'll crouch down again and carefully open his mouth to have a look.]

...Looks like there's something stuck in between his tooth and the gum.

[Ouch. She hesitates in trying to take it out though, wondering if he can still move while asleep. She doesn't want those teeth closing down on her hand.]

Let me see.

[He's putting on the gloves he used to use for "work", settling down beside her to peek in, using his powers to light up the tiger's mouth so he can see.]

[There's a large-ish shard of bone jammed in between the gum and tooth.]

[Oh boy. Do they have to cut his mouth a little?]

This isn't good.

[It should come out easily enough. But they might have to stitch up where it was a bit. Namine can do that part if he wants. You'd be amazed how much one can learn about first aid when your boyfriend has such a dangerous "job" :|

What is it?

There's something jammed between his gum and tooth, it doesn't look pretty. I can pull it out but... obviously part of his gum is already damaged.

Should I go get my first aid kit?

Yeah. I'll pull this out in the meantime.

[Stands and hurries to go get the kit.]

[Once she gets back, the offending bone is on the ground and Roxas has to pull off his shirt to hold up the corner to the tiger's mouth to stem the bleeding a little.]

[DDDDDD:

Hurries to kneel down next to him, getting things out of her first aid kit.]

I tried pulling it out cleanly, but it was buried pretty deep.

[Frowns a little and starts cleaning the wound. Here's hoping it wont get infected :c]

It's going to be painful for him.

[;; She's quiet, the way she always is when she's worried, as she works on cleaning the wound, making sure the bleeding's stopped before stitching it up.]

Do you think we should sedate him more until the pain ebbs away a little or...?

Maybe. If I knew more about medical treatment for animals we could give him some painkiller, but I don't know what dose he'd need.

[Maybe she should study a little about medicine. Couldn't hurt.]

Acepromazine is used for dogs, not sure about tigers. We could give it a shot. That dose should last for a while so he's asleep for a while. I'll go get some.

Alright..

[She'll stay here and worry. :c]

I'll be back real quick.

[Nods.]

Right..

[Poor Rajah. :c]

[Give or take a few minutes, he's rushing back in, out of breath.]

Got it. Did anything happen?

[Shakes her head. She's just sitting next to him, petting him.]

Alright, let me see...

[He applies the dose. Phew. That tiger will be out of it for a while.]

How long will he be out for?

Around eight hours or so, according to the label. Let him rest.

[Sighs and nods, still looking worried.]
