[Axel hasn't been too fond of the last couple days of spellwork, but today... today she's definitely alright with it. suits are much more preferable to poofy restricting dresses, and that's exactly what she's dressed in! a suit, that is. a nice one that manages to compliment what little she has in the way of curves. and so she's strolling down the street, an unlit cigarette in her mouth (she doesn't smoke; it came with the costume). she's just out to see what sort of stuff people got stuck in today.]

[Axel has maybe caught the eye of that one short-haired Riku, whose hair has actually changed (http://haircutshairstyles.org/pics/womens-bob-haircuts-2010-trends_2.jpg) today. Just a little longer and more even, but clearly not her own choice. She is walking out of a building right in Axel's path, looking exceedingly uncomfortable in her own clothes (http://i.imgur.com/Uv9Hs.png), and it's a safe bet to assume she's also incredibly jealous of Axel's.]

[she stops and smirks, removing the cigarette from her mouth and giving Riku a good look over. not that she's actually interested, but it'll probably make her feel worse, and it's always fun to push buttons.]

Nice dress.

[Riku shoots her a hard glare and moves to go back inside. Unfortunately she just crashes her chest against the door, as it's locked behind her.]

[hope she doesn't mind Axel snickering. the Nobody isn't exactly trying to muffle it.]

[Oh no, she doesn't mind at all. That darkened glare of hers is completely unrelated, and she pushes at the door as she moves away, clearly annoyed.]

How'd you get into a suit?

Luck, obviously.

[after all, she wasn't spared the wrath of the poofy dresses. she flicks the cigarette away, still whole and unlit, and sidles closer.]

Need help with the door? I could burn it down for you.

No, I don't need help.

[She's scowling again, looking anything but pleased, and automatically steps away when Axel moves closer.]

Now don't be like that. It's not like I was going to do anything to you.

I didn't think so.

[That's Riku's way of asking 'what could she possibly do?' You don't scare her, Axel.]

[she could set Riku's dress on fire. it'd probably burn up nice and quick. and then Riku would be naked.]

Then why back away?

[It would be pretty horrible, is what it would be. She would scream.]

Do I look like I want to be around you?

Not my fault we happened to cross paths.

[She crosses her arms and leans against the door, clearly waiting for Axel to go past.]

[she smirks, making a 'go ahead' gesture.]

Ladies first.

[She looks abnormally insulted by that, as if Axel's just said something extremely rude. She doesn't say a word as she moves to walk past her.]

[hey, she only even said it because Riku's the one in the dress! but that reaction makes her feel less inclined to leave.]

What, don't consider yourself a lady?

[Of course it does. She's got a scowl on her face, now, and is going to try to ignore Axel and walk away.]

Sure I do.

Didn't seem like it from the way you reacted.

[She scoffs.]

Why wouldn't I?

You tell me. You're the one who reacted oddly.

Well of course you'd deny it. Too bad there's no one else around to let you know I'm right~.

[She whirls around suddenly, pointing at Axel and looking pretty furious.]

Shut up. I'm not asking you. I don't care what you think.

[oh, doesn't she just look so curious now, along with smug.]

Touchy subject for you, Riku?

[She bristles, dropping her arm but not looking any less angry.]

Just shut up. You don't have a clue what you're talking about.

Apparently not, since you can't seem to stop arguing about it.

Maybe there isn't one. Maybe I just don't like you.

[she tsks.]

You just don't like me because I'm an Axel. You don't even know me. Pretty bad frame of mind for one of the good guys, don't you think?

I guess that isn't too surprising. Every Riku is just a narrow-minded hypocrite, hm?

[She actually looks more surprised than offended.]

Hm, you're right, that might not be the best way to describe someone who's clearly prejudiced against a certain type of person, or not-person in this case, without actually getting to know them.

[yes she is adopting quite the thoughtful pose!]

Seriously? Would you honestly rather I get to know you?

Maybe I'd prefer it to being treated like a villain for wanting my best friend back.

You know, I'd be more sympathetic if that hadn't involved taking away my best friend.

[she smiles a thin smile there, looking at some random building some distance away.]

What would you have done?

I don't know. Hard to say how I'd act without a heart.

[in that case, she's going to turn around, looking like she's getting ready to go on her own, instead of Riku having to leave this time.]

Lucky you don't have to deal with that.

[Riku stares at her for a moment, frowning, then just huffs.]

Right.

[her back is already turned to Riku and she raises a hand as though in farewell as a portal opens up for her to go through. though she doubts Riku has anything more to say, considering she'd just been trying to get Axel to stop talking.]

[No, sadly. ...but she will have something to say next time they meet.]

[is that so? Axel will be 'surprised' by it. she rather thought Riku would continue just being stubborn about everything. with nothing coming from Riku now however, Axel will simply disappear into the portal, leaving Riku behind.]
