[Hello DR. Wasn't this a nice and uneventful morning?

Before this girl showed up at least. She's on her skateboard, trying to avoid the rather large group of Heartless chasing her. She's pretty skilled with it and probably wouldn't have had much problem getting away, if not for the Shadow that appeared out of the ground directly in front of her, tripping the skateboard and sending her flying forward onto the pavement, which would have been bad enough on it's own without the Heartless taking their chance to attack her.

You have two options.

Help her, or wait and see what happens.

Just know this, her last line of defense here may put more than the Heartless in danger.]

[He could feel the Heartless making their way closer to where he's sitting, back against the wall of the empty business behind him. They don't usually come against him though. When he sees the girl he's more intrigued that she is not quite the same in looks as most other girls here than that she might be in any sort of trouble.

Where is his popcorn when he feels the need for it?]

[You'd better hope you're a decent distance away then, because as she rolls onto her back to see the Heartless leaping at her, she throws up her hands to defend herself...And Light practically explodes out of her.

Control. She has none. And it's not stopping at the Heartless. If Riku's close enough it'll lash out at him as well.]

[He's far enough away that all he does is flinch a little at the display. He doesn't want to move though, because moving would possibly put him closer to her range and he doesn't know if she plans on moving. He's tossing around the idea of perhaps slipping inside the shop behind him to watch, but that would look cowardly.]

[No she has no plans on moving until she manages to reign all that Light back in. But she's clearly having trouble. She's just lucky that it wont hurt her, the worst side effect of this kind of loss of control being a boost in energy.

She is managing to pull it back though, even if it's just a little. She'll probably have it under control again in a minute or two.]

[Until then, he'll be prepared to throw up a dark shield around himself, just in case. He doesn't look very happy at her lack of control either, his startled expression quickly turning into a sneer.

His thoughts are nowhere near actually helping her. Quite the contrary; he's wondering how she'd do if she were confronted with neoshadows.]

[Well that all depends on how well neoshadows would do against that Light.

If she had her weapon, then she'd do fine even without the Light. However it seems to have wandered off somewhere.

She does manage to get her Light back under control though, and she takes a moment to catch her breath and inspect the scrapes she got from the fall before standing up and moving over to pick up her skateboard.]

[It's really only payback for startling him when a dark spot appears on the ground just under her skateboard. Really. The darkness quickly forms into a neoshadow with her skateboard in its grip, only to drop it unceremoniously in favor of reaching toward her instead.]

[...WHACKS IT WITH THE SKATEBOARD. Yes she really did just do that. Yes she also knows that it wont hurt it. But that's what it gets for trying to take it from her in the first place. :|

She will then jump on the skateboard and get the hell out of range before that little grenade she dropped at the Heartless' feet goes off. What. She likes to be prepared.]

[She'll hear a startled yell and the sound of shattering glass when the grenade goes off, because Riku was too busy watching where she went to notice she'd dropped anything. There's a destroyed patch of road where the Heartless used to be. Riku himself is moving gingerly to try to avoid the glass all around him, not yet standing until he's carefully shaken shards from his clothes and hair.]

She skates over to where he is.]

No thanks to you. What were you thinking?!

[He glares at her balefully, which is somewhat less effective than he'd like when he's distracted with the mess he's sitting in. There's a few cuts on him from when the glass shattered from the explosion, but nothing serious that a potion couldn't handle.]

[Desi winces slightly at all the light, thanks to the darkness she inherited from her father, but that doesn't seem to stop her any as she drops the bag of sheet music she bought and throws a thundara spell at the heartless before running over to Melody to help her up.]

[Kira saw you wipe out and was coming to help when she notices the Heartless; as fast as she can, she throws a shield of Light between you and the Shadows]

Watch out! BARRIER!

[Good reflexes, Kira. You managed to give her an alternative to unleashing her Light.

She scrambles to her feet and bolts over to you. Thank goodness, someone nearby with a form of defense that doesn't involve blowing up half the street.]

[the whole area in front of Kira is suddenly struck with dozens of bolts of lightning, centered on the group of Heartless trapped against the barrier]

[Grabs a potion out of a bag she wears at her waist.

And nope, not injured any more than the scrapes. But she is wearing a horribly plain outfit!]

Well, I certainly couldn't let you get attacked by Heartless. What did you do to set them off anyway? Heartless usually don't attack around here unless something's happened.

Well, that's the thing. I wasn't, wherever this place is, a few minutes ago. And they were chasing me there because that's what they do.

I mean, this doesn't look like the Dressing Room I grew up in..
