[It's the middle of the night and this Riku is wandering around Radiant Garden. Normally, he would be asleep, but he can't, so he's been drifting around one of the parts of the DR he finds more familiar.

Clearly he doesn't care that some of the less savory characters come out at night, or just doesn't know.]

[He wouldn't, unless she immediately does something to make him suspicious of her. He hasn't met any Kairis here yet, so he's somewhat happy to see one.]

I can't say I get out much this late...but you're right, it is nice.

[It would, but he's used to people going out to find him and then lecturing him about being wherever it is they don't want him being.]

I can't sleep, and I'd rather not sit and stare at my wall until the sun comes up.

[the next least threatening thing to a Kairi is probably a Sora! who knows why he's out, when Ri is fast asleep at home, but here he is!]

[A wild Sora appears! Seriously, where have you been, he hasn't seen you for weeks, Sora.]

Hey, Sora. Haven't seen you for a while. You're out late.

[Riku is happy to see a familiar face, even though it's not his own Sora. Not that Kairi isn't a familiar face, just not a familiar Kairi.]

It's nice and warm out. Ri can't sleep without the fan on, and I can't sleep with it on. I get really cold, so I decided to try and... thaw for a bit. You can't sleep either? Where's Shiru?

I was asleep, until Taso decided my face was the best place to the house to sleep. I couldn't get back to sleep, so I left.

He's probably still sleeping at home.

[That depends on what's glimmering. Riku isn't normally attracted by shiny objects, but if it looks suspicious, he might try to figure out what it is from a safe distance.]

[It's definitely a pair, and may seem like the reflection of cat eyes. He doesn't have to worry about going over to check it out though, because in a second, it will come to him. It being the form of a Sora with the stench of Darkness blanketing him, his face blank as he rushes forward.]

[Hi darkness, why are you attached to a Sora-shaped person? Riku's stopped to check out the shinies eyes, but quickly backs up when rushed by them, a shield going up at the same time.]

[He draws up just short of running into the shield, swaying a little with a blank expression. Then he blinks and some recognition sparks in them. His fangs are hard to miss when he speaks, and he looks confused and rough in general.]

...Riku? What are you doing here?

...That one amuses me.

[He's mostly ignoring those fangs, for the time being. As long as Sora doesn't decide to use them on him.]

[There's a feverish look in his eyes, the irises entirely silver. He doesn't seem to realize he hasn't met this Riku before. If it weren't for the shield he'd be trying to get closer.]

[Well, if it makes him feel any better, the shield disappears fairly quickly. While they're talking, in fact.]
