[She looks amused, but doesn't say anything. Instead, she glances off back in the direction of the beach, then to their surroundings.]

Nothing. It just seems like we've all been here for a long time.

We have. I mean, we've come and gone, but it's been a long time. Collectively, at least.

Yeah, I do. Man, that feels like forever ago.

I'm glad Namine and Kairi were already here by the time I got here. I don't even know what I would have done.

You know, back then I was really worried about what would happen back home without me being there, and I hated it here, but now... now I can't even imagine going home. Even back on the island, I had friends and family with me.

[It took her a long, long time to accept and get to that point, but she does.]

Honestly, I'd probably be dead by now back home, so I've got no complaints.

[He says this with a smile, but his relief is apparent.]

[She smiles back. She's glad he's not dead, honestly. It's one thing she likes about this place. How people can escape the bad things they wouldn't recover from 'back home'.]

[She gestures for him to follow. He can see it from here, even from the beach, but she's going to let him see the area and also point out where their friends live.]

It's pretty different now. Most of the rooms turned into that big building. Apartments, kitchens, random death traps... The houses are pretty innocent from what I've seen. Kai and Axel live in one.
