[Today is not a good day to be Layla.
The Heartless girl is blundering her way through town clutching at her head, not really paying attention to where she's going - no attention left to pay.
It says something that her current killer-migraine-sickness state of feeling is actually an improvement on how things were not very long ago. Thinking straight? No, that's not on the cards for today.
Not a lot except ow make it stop, and what happened?, and no, Dad... really is.]
((So, um, backdated to just after the thing with the Heartless.))

[hey, long time no see! Sora looks awfully worried about the younger girl, approaching with a concerned expression.]

...Sora?

[concern concern concern. she's pretty ready to start fussing over the poor girl.]

[She rests against a wall.] Something out there... it's making Heartless hurt. Not kill us -[she realises after she says that it might not be the best pronoun, but damn, Sora already knows] but just hurt more than anything. I can feel it all around. And it. [Swallow. Blink. Rub head.]
It got Dad.

[and sad. and angry. she can only imagine how Layla must feel with all of that. she's going to get a hug, actually.]
There's- there's gotta be something I can do to help.
no subject
I dunno. I'm not sure what else would help. ... [Trying to laugh-] This does a bit, though.
no subject
I'll stick around until this problem's solved, okay? D'you think there's anything else I'd be able to do to help?
no subject
Thanks. And I ... I'm not sure? I don't even know what this thing that's happening is...

[so much hugging. she's trying to figure out in her head what she could possibly do.]
